I think it looks great. This is the generation where you'll finally see the rise of MMOs on console with The Division and Destiny. They've always sucked on consoles but this is looking to change that.
Bungie have repeatedly said that Destiny shouldn't be called an MMO.
Everything I've seen on the game suggests otherwise. They even use MMO terms like raids describing events. They probably see that as a negative for their game and console gamers see MMO as a blacklist. That's probably why they don't call it an MMO. The Division is an MMO and those devs refuse to call it that. They just call it an open world online RPG. Everything about that game is also an MMO. They're both MMOs basically.
-Extremely massive world like an MMO
-Central hubs
-Persistent world shared with countless players
-Unlimited character customization with loot drops
-Raids
-Dungeons
-Grouping for quests
-Regular content updates
Yup, it's an MMO. MMOFPS rather than MMORPG maybe. I'm not sure what else they would describe their game as when they plan on keeping it alive for many years. Perhaps it's not "MMO" because they plan to instance everything off like the first Guild Wars game. Maybe that's why they're saying that. I know that the Division will use instanced areas and certain places will be "hot" zones where you always see players for PvP. Other areas are instanced and you have to invite the players.
