I'm in(depending on when exactly I get my copy, given my friend bought my copy for me and got free shipping for it I may not get it till days later). I've also got a few good folks who are in as well when we all happen to have our copies at the same time.

I saw one person on the same mission as me (the one where you go back to earth to get an interstellar drive for your ship), but I wasn't teamed up with them. Then I realised I had my fireteam settings on friends of friends instead of public.

Might as well post this here as well. I just got home, and finished installing my copy. I tried to play, but I got the error code "Turtle." I tried getting through a couple more times and then I got the error code "Nightingale." I tried getting through a couple more times and I got the error code "Wasp." I tried going to bungie's support site to see what these codes mean and I was told that the site is down for maintenance. I was just wondering if anyone saw these codes, and if they were able to fix them?

So to anybody who has actually played what do you think of the game? I haven't been keeping track of it so I know very little about it overall. Is there any sort of single-player component? Co-op? Does all off the pre-order gear nonsense screw up the versus modes at all?

Been playing a bit, only level six so far. I'm playing a Warlock. Got to take part in one of the public events, the big robot walker that they showed in one of the demos. There were a few players in the area so we managed to bring it down eventually. That was fun. Still trying to get the hang of things, not tried PvP yet. For anyone looking for people to play with, I'm on PS4, LordDrakkon.

Ouch. I saw another one show up later, but there was only one other player in the area so I just bugged out and headed back to the tower.

the story missions can all be undertaken solo, however the game encourages Co-Op in a Borderlands-esque way

I'm up to level 8 on my Warlock, almost all story, the competitive MP needs some fine tuning, or I need better gear, or whatever.

 

Besides that I am pretty impressed, it has nice graphics, the enemies are smart and challenging, the weapons all have their drawbacks and advantages etc...

 

I may start a Titan when I get some more free time to play

Just get a shotgun or fusion fun steel.
