I'm not going to argue with you there, it could have been better. Despite the lack lustre demo at E3 I find that I've become very excited about this game in recent months. Destiny is my most lusted after game of the next gen ( well that and the Witcher 3 ).

Bungie are very good at building 'Universe's' and 'lore' and quick look at some of the promo art work on thier website hints that we have only seen a tiny sliver of the 'Destiny' Universe so far. I would like to see more info on the playable races, the classes, character customisation, unique skills etc, in the near future. Will Destiny have as much loot as Borderlands 2, loot is very important in online games like this, what else is going to keep you coming back for more and more until you've invested hundreds and thousands of gameplay hours.

Well Bungie is aiming to keep that to a minimum.

I hope so. But I will keep an eye on anything they reveal. You have to double check everything before start playing any MMO. Guild Wars 2 fail is too fresh in mind.

One of my core concerns is that since it is an MMO Bungie are really hyping up the ability to play with multiple people is that it won't be as accessible if you want to play solo, especially if you are like me and you are not really a fan of FPS's and you aren't very good at them. I picked up Borderlands 2 earlier this year and I think it is brilliant game but I hit a wall in that game and I can't get over it and I can't shake the feeling that I am being penalised and punished for going at it solo.

I think this will be the game that makes me go out and buy the next gen console. I know you can get it current gen, but I think I will appreciate it more on the the next gen. Just like Halo 3 was the game you had to get for the current gen.

I like 3rd person view more than 1st person view. It provides larger field of view, and I can always see my character's appearance.

More RPG and less MMO is good. Let's hope devs will not forget about that closer to the game's release.

I'm pretty sure the devs themselves stated this at E3 that it was an RPG, they only added MMO elements for the MP aspect of the game (it might be for SP too?)

They don't want too much grinding so they'll do what they can to keep it at a minimum and I'm pretty sure there will be some open world exploration, but it won't be as big as ES or fallout.

Looks pretty sweet.

It's coming across as a mixture of Phantasy Star Online, Borderlands and Halo to me so far. I have faith in Bungie to pull it off and it's my second most anticipated game after The Witcher 2.

Don't know Bungie has said there will be one for destiny (though it hasn't been given much discussion), so far it appears to be more exploration driven rather than story driven.
