It'll defiantly have vex in it since they've established a presence there, I'd like to see the cabal there as well since they are only on Mars.

Apparently the Vex completely covered Mercury in their tech, if that's accurate, we may very well be fighting the planet itself in some respects.

They're the currency to buy stuff from the Agent of the Nine. The guy turns up in the tower sometimes, down below the hanger I think. Never seen him myself.

 

EDIT: Also, I reached level 20 today! So far only got one piece of gear with light, a helmet giving me a grand total of 10 light. I took about twenty-five pieces of armour and weapons to the cryptarch and I only got two rares and a few uncommons out of it. Oh well, it did get lucky in a pvp match and got a rare pulse rifle, so I can't complain.

So I just got to level 13, almost done the story missions on the moon (finished Earth missions and strike) and I probably won't play again for a while, but I will say this:

 

While yes, the story is pretty underwhelming (especially when compared to Bungie's past work in the likes of Halo 2), this game is incredible. The gameplay is addicting as hell, and getting new weapons is awesome fun. MP is surprisingly fun as well, but it is by no means Halo MP.

Please share, I'm very interested. From what I gathered on the grimoire cards from Bungie's website, you have to die before you can be a guardian. So I guess that a ghost without a guardian seeks out a dead being and gives them a small portion of the Traveler's, but I may have misunderstood. I really wish Bungie would have made the cards accessible in game and clarified on the lore more, I can't be bothered to get on Bungie.net every time I unlock a new card.

Actually that was the idea, but then again, what exactly are the Exo? Actually, my idea would completely fall apart with an Awoken. Did the Awoken and Exo exist before the collapse?

The Awoken did, because

when you first head to the Reef, your ghost says something about all the ships belonging to the humans who tried to escape from the collapse, your Guardian responds by asking how did the Awoken survive the collapse without the Traveler and the ghost states that he doesn't know

 No one knows where the Exo's come from according to the Card I unlocked on Bungie's website.

 

It says:

 

"Built for a long-forgotten struggle, Exos are self-aware war machines so advanced that nothing short of a Ghost can understand their inner functions. They remain ciphers, even to themselves: their origins and purpose lost to time.

destroyed the Fallen House of Winter and perhaps even the House of Devils, because we destroy their Kell (Kings) and they have lost their Prime Servitor (they act as communication grids and function a lot like our ghosts)

so the lore is rich, it exists, we just don't get to experience it solely through the game.

...which is why they should be accessible from the game. Like any other codex. I downloaded the app, read a few cards and then promptly deleted the app when i realized that i was promoting laziness from the devs. If it isn't accessible from the game or explained in the game then it simply doesn't exist in the game. I swear, the lore and story as it exist in the game is so thin and poorly written it could have been written on a piece of tissue after a pub crawl.

That said, the gameplay is tight and amusing enough. More open space to explore plox, though. The most fun i have had was going down the rabbit hole (lolhellmouth) on the moon just because it was there. Mars is another great place where i just like to wander around.

I get a lot of old school Necron vibes from the Vex, and that's awesome because the old Necrons are miles ahead of the 'Tomb Kings in Space' Necrons we have now.

 

Anyway, the similarities are uncanny, we have: Ancient machines that existed before humanity did. Dormant cells lying in wait under most planets. The ability to teleport anywhere in the galaxy/universe they want. Planet-wide machine complexes that produce the robots. Etc.

 

Really the only thing that would make the Vex even more Necron like (and therefore cooler IMO) would be if they could repair and reassemble themselves on the battlefield. Maybe a future update or expansion will include a 'healer' unit that can resurrect dead Vex and/or heal damaged ones.

I just got a weapon bounty last night for an Exotic Hand Cannon. I also got the exotic gloves off the agent of nine using my coins.

 

My buddies and I all hit 25 over the weekend and are ready to do the raid come Tuesday. We just need to recruit 2-3 people.

We get to see one part of the planet in pvp (it's a area yhe vanguards and guardians have captured and now use for the cruible) and even there you can tell the planet is now a machine now.

 

I'm still sad Twilight gap is only a pvp map, it has the best view of the city and Traviler in the game

 

If anyone does not know, Twilight gap was where the big battle between the guardians(Shaxx and the vanguards(our trainers and mentors we see now also fought in that battle and their victory is a big reason they are now in their current position) and the combined forces of all the Fallen houses. It's located on outskirts it wast he battle that made the Fallen into what they are now (very unorganized pirates with the houses in chaos) It was also the location of the first fight with the Cabal.
