What the hell is that website made of that is hard for Firefox to load?!

Yeah, the game FEELS like its missing all the story goodies. That in tandem with Dinklebot's monotone statements doesn't exactly get my blood pumping for what's next.

I didn't really mind the Ghost's voice acting other then when the actor sounded confused when reading lines. The Ghost was my best friend and something that I felt that I could always trust (I don't really know why, maybe it was because I did the entire story solo and it was there with me nearly every step of the way?), I just wished that there could have been more interactions with it. The story on the Cards are really good, extremely well written, it is almost criminal that they aren't in the game. A lot of people are going to miss out on the lore, because those Cards aren't in the game and it just sucks... I really hope they patch them in.

 

I'm going to give you a run down of what you did on Old Russia

You have pretty much doomed the one of the Fallen there, they are going to die from starvation. If you did the strike

you cut off there communications and ability for space flight by destroying Sepiks Prime (he was basically the main server for all of the House of Devil's Servitors), Sepiks Prime also gives them Ether

which is what the Fallen live off (it's their food and water equivalent). You also killed the House of Devil's Archon which was the only known Fallen able to communicate the House of Devil's Kell's (Kell=king, basically) wishes to the Servitors, which as I stated act as their communications systems and allow them to fly their ships. So yeah, you pretty much killed off one of the four known Fallen Houses.

and you can't even know that without reading the Card's on Bungie.net, such a waste, such a stupid decision on their part, right?

I use Safari as my main browser, but the site doesn't really have Safari functionality for some of its features. I need to use Firefox or Chrome for it.

 

Tried Firefox, loading was slow and choppy.

 

Now trying Chrome, running smoother. Might give a read.

I use Chrome, it has always worked fine with Chrome for me.

God, I need to find a way to show y'all some of the gameplay clips I took.

 

One of my favorites is one where my accuracy was worse than my opponent's and I was going to die, but my throwing knife unicorn'd him in the nick of time.

 

Another was one that was not planned ahead of time, but watching it makes it look strategized(guess I've played video games with my friend for years so it might come natural to us)- I picked up an orb of light so I could use my Golden Gun. My friend stands by a doorway letting me through. I activate the Golden Gun, and then move over to the side to let him pass ahead of me with his shotgun. Two enemies are in the next area around a wall;my friend blasts the guy closest to us killing him, and within a quarter of a second I shot the farthest of the two enemies. You just hear a two beat sound and the area was cleared in a moment's time, it was awesome.

Also, seeing as I couldn't play Destiny I have a question. Because its effectively an always online game (and historically popular titles with that have had some pretty terrible launches) how stable has it been? I was told to see and expected news  saying it was inaccessible, but I haven't seen anything. I guess being spread over a fair few platforms helped.

My bootprints on the Moon. I don't care what anyone says, this is cool. Bootprints which show up on terrain and don't disappear in a couple of seconds.

 

The Pike. Seriously, they need to introduce sparrows with weapons. Make them high-level, make them legendary, I don't care, I want one.

"Yep, he's dead. Looting now?"

 

Pretty stars.

 

"That's just the sun rising behind the Traveler. Everyone takes that shot."

 

Created a female Exo Hunter. Obvious answer, but if the Exo were only created for some ancient war that nobody can remember, why do the female Exo have breasts?

 

I'm calling her Revenant-18. Even came up with names for my Warlock and Titan. Bungie might not let you name them in game, but I'll never make a customisable character and not name them.

Ghost "It's spilled paint."

The tedium of leveling past 20 is kind of annoying. I'm at 21 now, but after a mix of several vanguard missions and PvP matches, I've earned no new gear with +Light. At this rate it may be faster to jsut build vanguard rep and buy the stuff from robot Nathan Fillion.

The Crucible and Vanguard marks are the only way to guarantee yourself purple gear. There is a slight chance you will get one from an engram in a Crucible match or Strike but it's slim RNG.

 

Also the harder the difficulty the better the rewards so the best tactic is to grind marks AND find yourself some buddies that you can do higher level strikes with.

 

I'm still 25 atm but once I finish grinding out my Vanguard rep to lvl 2 (should be tonight) I should jump up to 26-27.

 

Then it's raid time!

Don't even bother with the strike playlist. You get more marks, rep, loot, materials in patrols along with public events(that give you strange coins and ascended materials) and much faster then a strike.

Always nice to see other members screenshots and gameplay vids. Need to start uploading some myself. Unfortunately I find myself with little to no time for that, let alone get some decent amount of time playing Destiny.

 

I do enjoy when gear and weapons, especially higher ranking ones are rare / hard to get. Adds more value to the equipment. If everyone was running around with that very same Legendary armor I would have, then it wouldn't feel that unique.

Big reason why I do approve of the mark weekly limit. This makes sure no one ran around with full legendary gear in the first week(unless you got every lucky with with drops)

Is true but you can gear yourself to lvl 24 with the blue rewards from the strikes and since you can only gain 100 marks a week...

 

1 piece of armor costs 65 marks, helmets cost 120, weapons 150. Your looking at 3-4 weeks to get fully equipped for the raid.

 

Plus the level 26 strikes usually dole out 1 or 2 legendary engrams each run. (though of the 15 or so that I've seen, Only 2 have actually contained something worthwhile. dat RNG!)

I have nothing to support it and it is just speculation, but something that I have thought of and seen other players state is that the higher your cryptech's (spelling) rank, the more likely the engrams you take to him will yield better (legendary or exotic) gear. That might be your key to getting your light level up. I've seen people claim that they have got engrams that yielded Legendary gear from the patrol mission on the Cosmodrome, so the engrams can drop literally anywhere, they seem to be as random as can be. I hope I helped.

This is not speculation, this is true. This is why cryptech rep goes beyond three and gives you three grams each rank up.

I'm level 3 with the Cryptarch, and Blue Engrams drop everywhere, so there might be some truth in that.
