I thought E3 demo was neat, but since it was E3 they could only show so much.

I just singed up for the beta, the code just ensures that you'll have a spot, the platform you want to play on is done on a later date.

A new weapon that has a bit of a Mass Effect feel to it.

It looks so much like Reach...

 

I mean I love Halo and this game looks amazing.  With their legacy Bungie was always going to draw heavy influence from it, but the similarity in this video is a little too familiar.

 

Hopefully E3 (and the beta) gives chance to show off a little more of what will make Destiny great.  I have no doubt it will be, I just think they should be showing off these features more.

So far I haven't really seen anything that has added to all the "revolutionary experience" that the devs from Destiny has so directly been focusing on getting through with its marketing. Considering as well that all that I have seen through gameplay videos are corrdior shooting doesn't strike me as anything impressive, even though certain elements look intriguing.

So I as well hope E3 will actually show more of this "living world" they have been so much talkingabout and really show casing the game and what else it has to offer other than a first person shooting experience.

I was thinking that the limited edition sounded a bit expensive until I saw the price of the expansion pack, now it looks like a bargain.
