This is my Warlock at the moment.

I found a rare ship blueprint, the Eon Trespass. Now I just need them to add ship combat to Destiny so having a rare ship means something.
I also leveled up at the Cryptarch again. Checked the mail, got two legendary engrams and a rare. Go back to Rahool the Troll, got two rares and two strange coins. You win this round Cryptarch, but I shall have the last laugh!
I'm assuming the big area sealed off above the tunnel to the Vanguards will be opened up to be something. I watched an IGN video on youtube where one of the devs toured them around the tower and he mentioned it like it was going to be something, but didn't give any clues as to what.
I'll probably have some screenshots to put up later or tomorrow.
EDIT: I'll tell you what I'd like to see, in addition to the Grimoire being in-game and just giving us more story. We keep doing patrols where we find data or scan the environment or get intelligence on the enemy, etc. Why not make an on-going community event out of that. Enough people do those patrols enough times and everyone who did it a number of times (thinking something along the lines of the way ME3 did their weekend challenges or ACIV with their community challenges) gets a reward and a bit of lore about the particular event. So if it was the one where you kill Fallen for their Temper Cloth, we'd get lore on what the cloth is made of, and perhaps how the Tower has reverse-engineered it and can now make better quality fabric for the cloth parts of Guardian armour, or something. Make it feel like we're having an impact on the world, strengthening the Guardians, helping the city, pushing back the Darkness.
