Same here - buying the exotic Sunbreaker gauntlets plus the new helmet from the Vanguard armory finally bumped my level up to 26 

 

Now all that's left to upgrade are my boots - thought I scored big time when I managed to find a Legendary boots engram while on Mars. Took them to be decrypted and.... oh, they were Legendary boots all right.... but for a Hunter, not a Warlock  well, I guess my eventual Hunter that I'll make someday just got herself a new pair of boots once she hits 20, lol.

 

Or playing on a Strike, getting all the way to the final boss, and the game to kicking you back to orbit   .

Ugh, doubt even remind me of that..... geezus, I was probably booted from the game world at least a dozen times last night   Bungie better get their servers working properly, especially when I'm at the end of a f**king Strike mission or within the final minute of a Crucible match. 

 

EDIT: Also managed to get through one Strike without a single death.... think for that requirement on my exotic bounty, I'm just going to replay the Earth Strike mission 4 more times, since that seems to be the easiest Strike to complete. Also, it was damn nearly done entirely on my own, to boot - one dipsh*t was AFK for the entire damn strike, the second guy bolted after dying twice, and a third guy only came on when I was nearly done with the Devil Walker, lol.

I got a legendary engram that turned into a legendary Scout Rifle

 

Then when I hit Level 10 with the Cryptarch the Post Master gave me two legendary engrams, one became a legendary fusion rifle, the other a legendary sniper rifle.

 

So I went from *expletive* all to having an exotic armor piece and three legendary weapons.

As for right now, I ended up with an exotic chest piece and I have four legendary weapons. Two scout rifles, a sniper rifle, and a fusion rifle.

 

Not bad.

Attempted the vault of glass today with two level 27s, two level 26s, and 2 level 25s (of which I was one). Despite the 20% damage decrease I was able to do relatively well thanks to the MIDA Multi-Tool. Unfortunately, we never even got past the first stage (summoning the spire) because our two titans kept losing their plate and eventually just quit our strike-team. I'm itching to see what's in there, because as good as lucky raspberry is, I want things that look fancy.

Decided to switch over from the New Monarchy guild to the Future War Cult guild - even though I currently have a Legendary chest armor, it's not exactly suited for my eventual Warlock build (which used pulse rifles/shotguns and grenades), so I'm going to build my rep with the FWC to obtain their Robe of No Tomorrow, which does increase my ammo for pulse rifles and shotguns, along with increasing both my Discipline and Strength (and I sorely need more Discipline for my grenade cooldown).

 

I also got a second LIGHT/BEWARE legendary fusion rifle from a Rare engram, this one does void damage (my first does solar damage). Guess my future Hunter now has a new fusion rifle to go with those new boots I mentioned, lol

 

Also a brief note for anyone going for the A Dubious Task exotic bounty - the second Step of the bounty, "Earn a kills/death spread of 25 in the Crucible", is a bit tricky to understand what it means, but I got a better explanation from another guy who did the bounty: every kill and assist you make in the Crucible equals +1 and every death you have is -1. The trick is to get the number of points of your kills and assists to eventually equal 25 ,keeping in mind that any time you die your death will take away a point. For example, 8 kills, 5 assists, and 4 deaths would put your bounty counter at 9 (8 + 5 - 4 = 9). Also the counter is cumulative, meaning you can keep earning points (or losing them if you suck and die a lot in the Crucible, lol) with each Crucible match you fight where you earn a number of kills and assists that aren't offset by the number of your deaths.

Is anyone else with a PS4 having connection issues with Destiny? I keep getting nameless errors. I've been booted from every strike I've tried today, I'm about to give up on playing for the day. 

 

Edit: So apparently the lizard people (https://twitter.com/LizardSquad) are DDOSing the Destiny and Call of Duty Servers on all the consoles.  Guess I'm off to use the treadmill.
