Anyone else find the pvp a joke? Seriously, 4 different modes+1 flavour of the week? The hell?! And the lag is frigging incredible. When your hits registers A FULL SECOND after they were actually made it means that the servers are seriously fragged. And no, my internet is fine with 2.0mb/s on and adsl if any smartypants wanted to comment on that. The matches just become comical with this crap. As someone who finds strikes tedious, them being 'protect the dinklebot  10 times before boss', this is a serious fragging issue. It's bad enough that this game has zero communications between players and suprising portion of the playerbase seem to be pvp scrubs but to have these simple, easily identifiable technical issues as well? Has bungie never released a game with online features before? (I know they have)

I keep getting the error "cattle" on Xbox 1. 

 

The game was working fine up until I decided to get something to munch on.

 

Edit: Well that explains that issue...

I'll keep a fairly loose eye on the Gamefaqs forums to see if the situation improves and try to keep this thread updated.

Same here. Repeated "Cattle" issues on PS3. And the Bungie forums are giving errors.

Glad to hear it! I just got back from using my treadmill and playing with my dog, so I guess at least me and my dog got extra exercise?  I am super pleased with Bungie, they sure knew who to hire to fix things!

I know how you feel, I brought an exotic engram for body armor and did infact get exotic armor.............for a warlock when I'm playing as a Titan.

Your comment makes me wonder if this is fixed, because I too am a Titan that purchased an exotic armor engram from Xur and had it turn into Warlock armor...

Got an legendary engram for a helmet, and it turned into a rare helmet.

Oh I've had a bunch of legendary engrams either turn blue or into strange coins.

 

Strange coins will help me buy a legendary eventually but damn do I need me some legendary armor. I still only have the exotic chest piece and the legendary weapons.

I also just need one more strange coin to buy something. Unfortunately the exotic for the Warlock this weekend is only of much use to the sunslinger (or whatever the other subclass is called) and has a lot less light than my legendary gloves. Hopefully next weekend it'll be either a helmet or chestpiece and then I'll be buying.

 

In the meantime I'm currently trying to level my rep with New Monarchy to buy one of their legendary armours and then I'll have to level my rep with Future War Cult to buy one of their helms, mostly because that'll give me the gear that helps the weapons I use regularly and give me intellect and discipline rather than strength which I've got enough of. Maxed out my vanguard marks for the week so now I've got to do a bunch of crucible matches to continue getting any marks and feel like I'll eventually be able to buy something.

 

I'll tell you something else I'd like to see added to the game. We can exchange materials for rep with vanguard and crucible. I want to exchange one material for another so I don't have to grind for something I'm running short of when I've got a ton of some other materials. Load of spirit bloom, with no gear that requires it, hardly any filiments but I've got two more upgrades for my legendary shoes. Sigh, I don't want to go back to the moon, I've been there so much.

 

I can almost see why they don't want players trading with each other, so that people feel they earned the things they have and so on. But trading with the game shouldn't be an issue. I don't care if the exchange rates are crap, I just don't want to have to grind the same places all the time.

I just completed the 25 strikes for my exotic bounty (this game loves the strike with the Winter Archon, it put me in that one 4 times in a row), after that I had to go see a bunch of people in the tower and finally spend one of my strange coins at Xur, well guess what I have to do now? I have to kill 10,000 Guardians in the Crucible. Gah! Why couldn't it have been something difficult like 500 or maybe even 1,000? 10,000 kills is madness, I just got that many kills in total. This is going to take a very long time

  Seriously, they want 10k player kills? Not. Worth. It. I get 15-25 kills per match so even at my best performance that would mean 400 matches. The exotics aren't THAT great

Yeah, my clan's on the final boss. Had a great chance to finish on Friday, but everyone's been busy since. Sunday, hopefully. It's amazing, though. It's one of the most dynamic co-op experiences I've ever had in a shooter - patience, stealth, platforming, timing, I mean, it's almost perfect if it wasn't so ruthless, though it wouldn't be half as satisfying if it were. I think if the press saw this, Destiny would've scored much, much better.

 

I really hope that the raids on Earth and the Moon are, like, LVL20-LVL24, and that Bungie consider implementing a matchmaking system, because everyone needs to experience a raid. Right now only a select chunk of the community is able to actually do it.

 

TL;DR It pisses all over the story missions and strikes.

Wow, that's bullshit.
