Depends where you live, in the UK they just converted $99 to £95, which is $163. Bloody rip off. It should be £58! I've gone right off Destiny because of it all.

Same here. I'm a bit bummed by that actually. I'll begin to freak out after 5:00 pm GMT ( which is roughly 10:00 am PDT when the Beta officially begins ) if I still have not received my Beta download code from Bugie via email.

To think my Boss gave me today off ( it was a total surprise ) for being one of the most overworked employees in the company and I'm going to spend the whole entire day waiting for stupid email, if I knew things were going to be like this I would have preferred to go to work and do something productive to distract me, and tomorrow I'll be leaving my home for work at 7:30 am and I don't be getting back until after 9:00 pm so there will be no Beta for me until the weekend.

PSN down due to High Volume of users. Bungie down for maintenance. Still no download codes. I'm not amused. Thos could have and should have been handled better.

I just checked my Bungie profile which must have been updated in the last 5 minutes and I now have my download codes. All is forgiven Bugie. All I need now is for PSN to start working again.

Try going to Bungie.net, click on you profile, click on codes, if you redeemed your pre order earlier and have already selected your console and region then your 3 codes should be in box underneath.

I gave up trying to redeem it through the PS Store. Redeemed one of the codes on the PS Store website instead, and the download was available in 'View Downloads' from the PS Store.

I was able to see mine on bungie.net when I got back from lunch (log into bungie w/ psn).

 

Sadly, I'm still at work, so not able actually do anything with my codes yet.

Well, after more than 1 1/2 hours I was finally able to redeem my code on a PSN and download it. To think that 1 game ( not even a full game, a Beta ) could crash PSN.

It's expected. I mean, it's a 10 gig download, and we got 3 download codes for pre-ordering, which is a $5-$10 minimum that could just as easily be refunded, not to mention the amount of beta codes just given away on Twitter, on Twitch, at IGN, and so on. I don't think it'll be anywhere near as bad on launch. Plus side is that this is the PS4's first real stress test, and it's not the worst I've experienced.

I'm digging the soundtrack in the installation screen -- Euphoric, serene and calm. I find it way better than anything of that bullocks soundtrack for their Halo games but I never found them appealing anyway.

All these problems on PSN makes me fear the Xbox launch(as if the 4days weren't bad enough). Hopefully they clear things up during maintenance and let us download early.

If we have to wait a half a day or longer then that would suck
