Does anyone know if the class items the Queen's Emissary sells work like regular ones or the ones the three factions sell? Just wondering if you can get extra rep with the Queen like that.

I don't think so, but I am not 100% sure. I do know that the Legendary weapons and armor you can get for doing the Queen's Wrath missions are actually weaker than what you could get by buying from the other factions and the Vanguard.

Yeah, the Glimmer Cap is so low that it disappoints me. I was holding out hope for a really cool and expensive ship until I found out about the cap being 25k. I have all of those consumables and have never once used them either, I just throw my glimmer away on useless engrams so that I level up my Cryptarch, just on the offhand that his level does have an actual effect on something.

Wait, the queen has an emissary on the tower? Where the hell is he?!

A better question is why does she only sell the same four dyes?!

This... This annoys the heck out of me. What annoys me even more is the fact that she never has "the wolf" emblem. Where the heck is it? It was there on launch day, but I decided to spend the money on a ship, because I figured it would show up again. It hasn't, but the other emblems (most of which are crap, save for a couple) sure have.

Remember that closed off section right near where you get and turn in bounties? It is open now and the emissary is in there (there is also a dead ghost on the railing behind the emissary, if that interests you).

Yeah, I noticed they didn't seem particularly good. I mostly just wanted one for the Reef/Queen design.

That's a good idea. I'm at level 8 at the Cryptarch and he still gives me rubbish, but even worse I seem to be finding less and less engrams while playing (although I've got a legendary boots engram to turn in, fingers crossed). Buying some to keep away from the glimmer cap would probably be a good idea. Everything worth buying requires marks or motes or strange coins anyway.

Which brings me to another annoyance. I finished the Black Garden earlier, figured it was about time. The story really does end on a whimper, but what annoyed me the most was the 'reward'. In story, our Guardian does what no other Guardian can do (apart from, you know, every other player), triumphs against countless foes which have slain Guardians in the past, defeats a great evil at the centre of the Black Garden, safeguards the Traveler. And your reward is one mote of light. The Speaker basically says, "Well done, here is a speck of dust I found. Don't spend it all in one place. Keep grinding til the DLC comes out. Kthxbye." Hell, the Stranger's Rifle is worse than the pulse rifle I got in the crucible last week.

I really just don't understand how Bungie thinks people who don't like the game as much as I do (still think the positives outweigh the negatives at the moment) are going to stick around until December with all the games coming out in October and November when there is so little incentive to do things in the game. I actually had a lot more fun leveling my character up to 20. Might end up leveling my Titan and Hunter instead once I finish grinding out the crucible marks to buy my two other legendary armour pieces.

ARGH!!!!

Edit: I got TWO primary weapon legendary engram to drop and it gave me FOUR ascendant energies!!!

*More screams of rage ensue*

Edit: I also found a bouncy ball that you can knock around on the left side of the Queen's emissary area. No one else seemed to care as I bounced it all around the Tower.

What upset me about the ending was the fact that

Spoiler
Personally, I felt like they should have copied/paid homage to this at the end of the game:

or this:

We have a dancing emote, they should have let us use it at the end of the game.

Hell yeah, cheesy dancing and music should have ensued. I now also realised that there were no credits. I mean, I know it's not a single-player game and finishing the last story mission doesn't technically end the game, but still.

I finally got my first exotic bounty. I hope the shotgun is great as the thorn was looking quite sexy after gathering more info on it.

The Quen's wrath missions are fun so far, nice step up in difficulty with guaranteed pay-off

Tried the Queen's Wrath mission alone, it can go screw itself and die in a fire. I destroyed four or five of the gates that the Vex come out of (took me 20-30 minutes to do that) and I come across three harpies, my electric grenade did no damage to any of them for some reason despite it looking like it was close enough that it should have at the very least took out their shields (it really should have killed them), so since I hardly have any ammo left, I use my Fist of Havoc because that should kill them, right? Nope, does no damage and I get pelted to death and get sent back at the start when I respawn.

It could have been effected by the damage-type modifier - my first Queen's Wrath mission I did with another guy had a solar modifier, meaning that my Invective shotgun and Sunsinger powers did higher damage than normal, but my pulse rifle did near worthless damage (because it only had kinectic rounds).

The Queen's Guard Robe I got was cool looking, but the bonuses are better on the new Robe of No Tomorrow I finally was able to buy from FWC (better Intellect and Decipline, plus more ammo for pulse rifles and shotguns). The Queen helmet that I earned earlier, though, is pretty nice with its bonuses.

Am also going to have to do 25 Strikes for the next step of the Toland's Legacy exotic bounty.... ughhh....  (then according to the Destiny wiki, I'll have to wait for the weekend so that Xur appears so I can get a certain item from him, then earn 10,000 f**king points in the Crucible.... )

If it makes you feel any better, I'm level 13 at the Cryptarch and he still gives me sh*t 8 out of 10 times, lol.  <_<

The Queen has only further cemented my hate for Scout rifles. These weapons are complete crap and annoying to get headshots with in PvP.

Something else to mention, the Queen's Wrath event actually behaves in the same way as the Iron Banner event what with how the bounties, reputation, and the vendor selling new items work (at least, compared to how the Iron Banner played in the Destiny beta).

Ok, so I just read something interesting over at the Destiny wiki that I think the rest of you should know when going for Queen's Wrath event:

According to the wiki, if you join another player on a Queen's Wrath mission, but you don't have a Queen's Wrath mission yourself (In your inventory under your missions, after completing one Reef bounty), you will NOT get any of the new Legendary items at the end of the mission. To get an end of mission reward during another player's QW mission, you have to have one mission yourself already...... well sh*t, Bungie, it's like you want us to have to do these f**king things solo, lol  <_<

Draksis: Stand there right in front of the door after it opens and unload as many Arc Damage Sniper rounds into his face as you can before he goes for cover.

Worked like a charm for me, done soloed it.

Finally got to level 13 cryptarch, and still getting terrible item's with legendary engrams, Bungie really needs to fix RNG for engrams.

I reached Level 28.

http://www.bungie.ne...9222386807#gear

Fully upgraded my chest piece before and hours ago my helmet. Gotta work on gauntlets and boots. The cloak I'm not worried about.

I got another legendary sniper rifle today from completing a Queen's Wrath mission. Chris got the same weapon a little later so he'll probably relax now.

And he'll tell you all about the insane superiority of Ice Breaker. He always brings it up, hahaha.

I might have to make a montage of my Ice Breaker clips.

So I haven't noticed, but do the Queen's Wrath missions give you rep with her? Because if not, I don't see a way to be able to complete one of today's bounties, which requires you to win three crucible matches with one of her shaders, emblems and class items equipped.

Nah, I believe the only way to get rep with her is to complete the bounties. Don't worry about it;sometimes bounties are up that are impossible to complete because they appear at a time when circumstances do not allow for them.

Yeah, you do have to wait until next weekend for Xur, the reward from Toland's Legacy is the gun I am using when I play with you. The 10,000 points aren't that bad, I thought that it was 10,000 kills when I got it.
