Well, I play my character like a mid ranged marksmen. I need the scopes in order for me to do that. Before anyone asks, I don't like the Sniper Rifles in this game since they miss the aiming reticle. I also mainly PvP, so shotgun is also needed.
I use a lot of scout rifles and hand cannons.
I've never touched pvp, so I can't vouch for that.

PvP is mainly CQC, so shotguns are basically king. Auto Rifles are also used a lot too, but when it comes to corner fighting. Shotgun is the way to go.
Well I just found something entitled "Quite Content Damsel" during my spirit bloom runs. It was an exchange for a rare ship that is excessively ugly.
That's the ship I was currently using, recently switched back to my LE ship instead.
Which brings me to what I was thinking earlier today:
Why does every Rare ship I find via schematics always result in a ship with the same bronze-crap color to it? Are there NO Rare ships that have some other color to them? 
I have a ship that is a nice cyan.
Mine is cyan, or it is gray. I can't remember.

Got a lengendary engram that turned into an exotic, the hard light auto rifle, also managed to buy an exotic armor piece for my Titan from Xur today.
I decided to test my luck with the exotic engram and ended up with the exotic hunter helmet that gives bonuses for the Bladedancer spec.
I was surprised when I could use it with my exotic sniper rifle.

No need, I kinda spoke too soon lol..... just earned the Legendary ship "Chasing Infinity" from a Queen's Wrath kill mission. 
Still haven't found any group to do the Raid, though.... hope Bungie is seriously when they stated that they may potentially consider a matchmaking option for the Raids in a future update.

I will admit I like that Bungie don't seem to be being too uptight or Poe-faced about the community's criticism of things. I'd say that along with the regular patches and blog-post type things is a good sign.
Personally I'd settle for matchmaking for the weekly/daily strikes and story missions. Maybe not forcing people to get matched up, but an option for those who don't want to try soloing them.

I'm just baffled as to why they didn't put matchmaking in for those and the raid with some sort of disclaimer stating that for the optimal experience run with friends or don't rely on matchmaking. I mean as it stands a fair amount of people can't do the raid because they don't even know 5 other people that have the same console as them due to this being the start of the new console generation.
Well, my night was interesting.... and ended with a massive amount of suck. 
Finally got to go on the Raid with a few other people I met from the Angry Army group (the forumites of the Angry Joe Show) using the Destiny app. Was pretty interesting for the most part, even though our main guy had gone through it before, we all still ended up dying numerous times, lol. So after 4 hours, countless deaths, endless frustrations in some areas, we finally get to the final part, where the final boss is revealed and.....
.... My f***ing internet craps out 
Dropped my connection for around 3-4 minutes, finally get back online, get back to the team and.... connection craps out again finally get it fixed and back on again and.... find out that they brought in a 6th guy to fill my place, even after spending 4 f***ing hours with this group fighting in this damn mission So I never got to finish the Raid or earn the last rewards for completing it and, since your personal Raid progress is tied to the team leader, I'm not going to be able to complete the Raid this week 
I'll have to wait till next week when the entire progress resets, then go about trying to find another group to join in on the Raid (I just hope that if when that happens, your rewards progress will also reset so I can attempt to get other rewards other than accendent shards, lol).

Actually, every activity in Destiny is a chance to gain reputation with the Faction leader who holds the gear you covet the most. Just equip their Class item. My Warlock never leaves the Tower without his Dead Orbit bond. No matter whose ass I’m kicking (from the Cabal to some Hunter in the Crucible) I’m inching closer to that sweet belt-fed heavy.

I did get a Legendary Engram by leveling the FWC today. Got a legendary sniper called "The Chosen One" I haven't really used it enough to develop an opinion on it, but upgraded I could see some changes in that line of thinking.
A follow-up to my last post, lol:
Managed to get back on later tonight, talked to the main guy I originally talked with from the Angry Army and rejoin his second attempt at the Raid (since everyone else abandoned him shortly afterward my connection messup) - since he wasn't the squadleader for the first team, he couldn't hold the team off waiting for me while the leader got a replacement (which didn't really matter, cause they all gave up, lol). Tried the Raid with him again and a new team, but these people were morons running around like headless chickens (probably the same smucks from my Skirmish/Salvage matches ). He said we're going to have to find new guys for a team, cause these people didn't know how to play worth jack.
So slightly more optimistic about getting through the Raid before the progress reset next week, providing he finds new people to actually complete the original Raid with.
EDIT: Realized that Xur would be gone in a few hours, so I thought "What the hell" and bought his exotic helmet engram, lol - got an exotic helmet for my Warlock (if it had been for a Titan, I would have been so pissed, lol). Also bought a Stealth Drive vehicle upgrade for when I buy a Rare sparrow from the Crucible vendor next week.
