500 million dollars on making and promoting Destiny, and they have broken even yet... im scared of the future of gaming if companies start throwing away money like this.
They haven't spent 500 million yet, that is there budget for the original and how ever many upcoming dlc's are added. Also they made 350 million in five days so the have definitely passed the 5 hundo mark by now.

Did they apply some changes to level and item progression? I think I reached level 22 like twice faster with my warlock than I did with my titan.

Noo.... the world started to end this last Friday, when my Raid group went in and beat the gatekeeper section on the first try with only 5 guys (cause one guy got booted), then proceeded to beat Atheon ON THE FIRST TRY WITHOUT ANY GLITCHES OR BUGS APPEARING WITH ONLY 4 GUYS (cause the 5th guy went down in the first Time's Vengence) 
oh, and I got my 3rd Vex Mythoclast from that battle as well, lol.
Is the daily reset happening an hour earlier for anyone? Got it at 2am MST tonight, which is 1am PST/4am EST.

Well, I got into a nasty multiplayer game and everything gotten tied down to a slugging match. Both teams were murdering each other and we were about three points away from winning. The enemy team though was only one.
So I entered bladedancer and in a desperate effort, took on the enemy team by myself. To my luck, there was four enemy members there.
And so it was, we won. I gotten hate messages from the enemy team.

Interesting. New economies to equip you with upgrade materials sounds intriguing. Perhaps we'll be able to turn in a chunk of basic mats for ascendant mats?

Sometimes I wonder how well I'd perform and how many more matches I'd win if I was a Hunter (or you know, if there was actual team balancing in PVP).
BTW **** Hunters and them not being able to be stuck with sticky grenades. I'm not one of those Voidfang + Gift of the Sun assholes, but it'd be nice for my magnetic grenade to be of some goddamn use, ie. work properly, against the hordes of Hunters online.
/tiny rant, nothing personal, it'd be nice if Bungie balanced PVE and PVP separately

I feel like that sometimes, but I'm better in Halo 4 than I am in Destiny oddly.
I totally burned myself out on this game, haven't touched it for awhile, probably won't until a ton of content is out. Inquisition and Far Cry 4 are both nest week anyway, so I'd have dropped Destiny all the same.
Honestly I'd rather be able to swap ascendants to basics, I have dozens of shards and energies, but I wasted 45 minutes scouring mars for some GOD DAMN RELIC IRON which didn't want to spawn no matter what, and ended up with like 20 pieces.

I totally burned myself out on this game, haven't touched it for awhile, probably won't until a ton of content is out. Inquisition and Far Cry 4 are both nest week anyway, so I'd have dropped Destiny all the same.
Burned myself out weeks ago, hahaha. Had way more fun with Sunset Overdrive and my experiences with the Halo MCC and AC Unity so far.

Not sure if anyone who actually waited for the reviews bought the game.
Handful of lukewarm **** with unwritten disaster of a story line is pretty dominant overall impression among people on the outside looking in.
Unless I get a Raid helmet or gauntlets next week (got gypped yesterday on Hard and Normal) I'll be playing Iron Banner non-stop to guarantee my Hunter a pair of gauntlets so I can hit LL30.

There's that with the new update. They're also testing VOIP. I'm not sure why it's troubling alot of devs to get voice chat into their games this gen; GG had trouble and inevitably took a while before implementing it into Killzone Shadow Fall. At the time I honestly just thought it was Sony forcing the exclusion to push their proprietary party chat on the PS4, but there have been more than a few games, even on XB1, that don't have an in-game voice chat system.
So. Much. Hype.
But Crota isn't the only god in Destiny...
(terrible match, versus terrible players, admittedly)
