[The Invader]

Been doing that since yesterday with a group that I know (unfortunately most of my clan aren't on Destiny much these days) - aside from the metric-crapton of blue engrams, I've managed to find 7 Treasure Keys and 11 legendary engrams (2 primary weapon, 1 special weapon, 3 heavy weapon, 1 helmet, 1 chest, and 2 class item). Also went and got my Passage Coins (for Trials of Osiris) from a few Skirmish matches as well.

That's a nice haul! I only got two keys myself, but I managed to snag two legendary primary, one special, chest armor and a class item. I'm hoping to score that sexy Dead Orbit scout rifle on Tuesday.

Holy balls I have so many engrams I don't know what to do with them. I am eager to cash them in Tuesday. 

 

And I'm happy as well. I've been a murder machine in the crucible for the past few matches, one of them with 40 something kills and a 10. K/D.

Back when I still had a clan I had a perfect match with an awesome 27. K/D. Doesn't really happen anymore, cuz pug matches. Also, Blade Dancers **** those guys lol, bane of my existence.

I'm a Titan man, love the Defender subclass. Honestly, I just love punching stuff with my Titan.

Sniper rifles are useless on majority of the maps. Trust me, I would love to use them more, but most of the maps are made for CQC. I have killed more Sniper users with my shotgun then any other. Stand behind a door cloaked and wait. They never see it coming.

Not always but 90 percent of the time I come out positive. Sometimes I even top the scoreboard.

You just have to hang back and avoid certain areas. On every map almost there's a place where a sniper rifle can be effectively used. Firebase Delphi really isn't a good map for snipers at all, but there is still sightlines provided you use an ambush scope.

My main Sniper is icebreaker, so don't have much options on scopes.

Tuesday can't get here soon enough. I can't wait to upgrade Fate Bringer, VoC and some of my Titans exotic armor.

And now I'm up to 12 Treasure Keys and 15 legendary engrams - my clanmates are finally getting back on Destiny within the last day or two, they say I must be blowing either the Cryptarch or someone at Bungie to be having the luck that I'm having at finding keys, lol.

 

Honestly, I'm not entirely sure why, but I'm more eager for House of Wolves to drop than I am for Witcher 3 - maybe it's because I've pretty much kept myself in the dark and ignored all the hype and buildup (trailers, gameplay footage, etc), for Witcher, but I think it's also because with Witcher I know I can just install it and play it whenever I want to cause its a SP game, but with HoW there's the social interaction I have with my clan and other people.

Unless you have been farming chests 10+ hours a day since Friday, then your buddies are right - your RNG luck is nuts. 12 Keys & 15 purples is a crazy good haul.

 

From probably 20 chests (most double- or triple-looted) I am around 60-70 blues, 3 purples, and one key.  Also got enough spinmetal and special ammo synthesis packs to last a couple years.  Based on my horrendous RNG luck I expect the purples to decrypt into either mats or old, pre-DB gear, that I will have to ascend to get any use out of.

 

A guy I was running bounties with on Sunday had hit over 50 chests (most multiple times) and still hadn't gotten a single key.

HoW Legendary weapons are now dropping in the Crucible (especially Salvage, for some reason) due to the recent update today, fyi. Found a new HoW scout rifle in one of my recent matches, it's currently capped at 331 damage until HoW drops tomorrow and the new damage cap goes into effect.

If you got the legendary engrams from the QW chests, then they should turn into the new HoW gear and not the old gear.
