Only found out about the chest glitch thing today, so I've not got an impressive haul of purples, just one class item. Got a load of blues though, so maybe I'll get lucky and get a legendary out of one of them. I'm thinking I'll take them to this Master Ives though, screw Rahool. Always saying "sorry to see that go" when he gives me another blue item I'm immediately going to junk for weapon parts.

 

I go to play other things and they spring this awesome event. Although I heard the patch/update tomorrow will stop the multiple looting of the chests, shame.

It doesn't really matter, because you only need 1 treasure key per arena you do, and the arena's smaller treasure chests are already confirmed to drop the keys. Farming the Queen's bounty targets on Skywatch is tantamount to running the loot cave, funnily enough. That said, it's a super way to get hundreds of Spinmetal Leaves for all 3 of your characters :3

Am pretty sure that Bungie has confirmed that they're not patching crap when it comes to the QW chest exploit (and if they did patch it, it'd be much later down the line), plus the exploit has been in Destiny since day 1 and they haven't done jack to fix it by now.

 

EDIT: And the final count before How drops is 15 Treasure Keys, 16 legendary engrams, and 3 new HoW weapons that dropped from Salvage (a scout rifle, a shotgun, and a really decent auto rifle).

That Emblem is honestly quite beautiful. Re-levelling my exotic helmet because it had more intellect in then my last one. Then I'll be 33, and I might try the 34 PoE tonight.

 

Just had a fantastic game, leading 7000 - 2000, servers decided to turn off and got kicked back to menu lol.

Managed to beat the living hell out of Urrox this morning, with much swearing and controller throwing. But damn, if it wasn't satsifying when we murdered that SOB.

Got super-lucky late last night during my second Nightfall and got my first Etheric Light (upgraded my Crota Raid helmet), then bought the Warlock gauntlets with the new House of Judgement gauntlets after clearing the 32 PoE, and got a 2nd Etheric Light from doing the 34 PoE as a 33 Warlock. So now I am lvl 34 on my Warlock

 

(Also got the new Exotic Hunter gauntlets from the 34 PoE chest, one of my clan-member got the new Celestial Nighthawk helm from the Nightfall)

destiny sucks. Everyones so obsessed with the MMO side of mmorpgs that they forget the RPG part. Its a linear storyline, with no room for adventure. Id rather play a tabletop game than this scripted fate nonsense.

Destiny will be good in Ten years and after over $1,000 worth of DLC. Then it will be the game that justified the hype. Also I remember a early development video in which one of the Bungie guys was talking about being something like a level 50+ guardian so it seems that that will take the full ten year plan to get there as well.

thanks that was a good laugh. The game has been gutted for DLC. This game wont be popular 10years from now.

No, not really. I enjoy the game but to be honest the hate train gig is old. But again, I likely won't be playing Destiny much once I get Halo MCC and a xbox one. 

 

Oddly, I have a love/hate relationship with Destiny and somehow it's the only game I feel like playing at the moment. If it wasn't video game crack I would have thrown it out the airlock.

Was this the lvl 32 or lvl 34 PoE? 

 

I just completed the story and ran the lvl 28 PoE for the first time last night, and that was tough for my group, which was a 32 titan, a 31 warlock (me), and a 29 warlock.  Especially round 5, which was cabal.  We got pinned back near the entryway and almost all ran out of ammo before finally taking the boss down.   

 

Those kill #s are insane - I think we were only around 130-170 kills per team member by the end.  But I still got Plan C and a new legendary arc damage HMG (queen's fury, or something).

And the lvl 35 Prison of Elders has been conquered   got a new emblem, shader, and the biggest damn ship I've seen in this game yet (so it's like beating Crota for the first time for guaranteed cosmetic rewards), along with another Etheric Light that I used on my Found Verdict shotgun and both an armor core and weapon core, which I used for a Judgement's Chance item with gave me the House of Judgement pulse rifle.

 

All I can say is, you better hope and pray that both yourself and your other two team-members all have Gjallarhorn for that last boss, cause otherwise it's gonna be a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitch lol.

In all honesty, you really are almost required to have at least one titan on the team with an Armor of Light bubble to deal with that debuff slash "F*** you" mode. Tried helping two hunters last night on Urrox and we couldn't beat it cause they couldn't deal with the debuff (at least a Warlock with Angel of Light can somewhat manage)

34. And it was honestly just that 4th round. Maybe the 2nd round with Cabal, too, but everything else was manageable.
 

All I can say is, you better hope and pray that both yourself and your other two team-members all have Gjallarhorn for that last boss, cause otherwise it's gonna be a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitch lol. 

Truth! but it's also doable with 2 Gjallies and any tracking RL, eg. Hunger of Crota.

Good god, I'm never gonna hear the end of this from my clan..... found another Etheric Light from my last Nightfall (meaning I've found 2 Etheric Light in 2 of my 3 Nightfalls this week), which means that my titan will also be able to reach 34 once I get an armor core from the 32 Arena and another Etheric Light from the 34 Arena (so 2 of my 3 Guardians have hit lvl 34 within the first week, lol). 

 

Also spent a bunch for a number of Exotic helmet engrams from Xur (had almost 500 strange coins, so I converted a bunch of them into Motes of Light from Xur) and got both The Ram warlock helm and the Celestial Nighthawk hunter helmet

Had to eventually leave the 35 PoE I was in.

 

Been in there for 2 and a half hours. Got to Skolas, found out one player doesn't have max Gallahorn

 

So it was 2 Gally's and a Queen's Rocket launcher...lol I think I'll try again tomorrow.

 

But reached 34 on my Warlock. Might get around to my Hunter, but to be honest I only really play Warlock.

 

Now its onto some well deserved Witcher 3 after that Skolas mess.
