I played Biotic, I kept Tali and Ashley in my party at all times. It felt both balanced and like a little harem.

Overall, I've used Wrex and Liara the most. Garrus and Tali kind of behind them, and Kaiden the least along with Ashley. When I first got the game I used Ashley a lot, but that stopped a long time ago after I realized that Wrex just felt like a better version of her.

the majority of the time i use garrus and ashley but i really like having liara in my party too

I used Ash and Tali even though I was a soldier, Loved having massive firepower and being able to unlock everything in the game.

almost always Garrus....i didnt really care about the achievements, so i just swapped between characters...tho after a while i felt Wrex was the coolest to have along with me.

For my first playthrough, I played mostly with Garrus and Wrex. I didn't bother to get the Turian Ally and Krogan Ally achievements, though, because I was locked out of the Citadel by the time I started to care about sidequests. I wasn't sure if it was still possible to do it, and after awhile I just wanted to finish the game.



I'm on my second playthrough, and I'm using Garrus and Wrex again. Those two are my favorite characters. Especially Garrus.

Garrus and Wrex are my favorite. I'd probably use them most of the time. But I've not had the game long and want to get the achievements, and learn about the other characters.



No matter what, I just can't seem to like Kaiden much...



My Engineer had Garrus and Wrex.



My Sentinel has Ash and Kaiden. Kaiden will probably be the one to bite the bullet, since we are both Sentinels, and he sucks at combat. He likes to just stand in a hallway or doorway and get shot, no matter what you tell him to do. (I haven't finished this playthrough)



I want to do a Soldier or Infiltrator. They will probably use Liara and Tali. That should cover all the achievements.

For my first playthrough, I was a male Infiltrator, and I brought Ashley and Kaidan. (Managed to get both their Ally achievements too!) After the little snafu on Virmire, I brought Liara along instead.

On my second playthrough, I'm playing a female Infiltrator (yes, again. I felt I screwed up some point and talent allocations for my first and wanted to try different strategies). I'm bringing Wrex and Kaidan this time.

For my third playthrough, I'll go with a male Sentinel. Wrex and Garrus will be squadmates for that run.

My fourth and final playthrough (and the one I intend to be the "canonical" version) will be a male Soldier, with Liara and Tali.

As a sentinel I had utility in spades, so I usually tried to pack as much firepower as I could for my squadmates. So I took Ashley and Wrex. Both were tough and packed a good punch.

On my solider I took Tali and Liara to have a balanced team. It worked.... though I found it frustrating at points to have squadmates who were inept at fighting. If I did it again I'd probably pull Garrus for tech and Wrex to cover biotics. They're a bit weaker in utility, but good enough.

My little debate was always Garrus vs Wrex. I liked that Garrus could use a sniper rifle. But Wrex had some good stories and was tougher, while Garrus was suffering a midlife crisis and was all wishy-washy.

throughout most of my time I used Wrex because he tough, powerful, and honest with you. Plus he sacrficed the future of his race to help me take down Saren.

Wrex is a must. I cant imagine playing without a Krogan.
They are just supremely badass!

Its the best combo I've played with yet, It's fun, and i enjoy it. Thats all that matters

my first playthrough i just stook with the same team of tali and kaidan it was a pritty good balance my shepard was a soilder so he was pritty much the brute force of the team.

I used Wrex/Kaidan for my insanity playthroughs.



If there wasn't cover, I used Wrex. He was a good Krogan headbutt shield. Kaidan has everything that Liara has (minus singularity which isn't necessary if Shep has it) and has tech and more health.

Gonna beat the game again as a Vanguard, dunno who I will use.

Kaidan/Ashley for my Vanguard, with the others getting switched in (in Ashley's spot, usually).



After Virmire, Liara and Wrex spend the most time in Ash's place.

I paired them up according to my class (Soldier), and really didn't have a favorite I enjoyed all the party members in ME.
