first it was wrex and garrus. then wrex and ashley. then wrex and kaiden.



tho it took me a really long time to realize i play with wrex all the god damned time. i mainly play a sentinel just so i can guarantee wrex a spot and still get some variation in the other squaddy.

wrex and tali. played as an adept on my second go-around. liked the combo of wrex with a shotgun and tali fryin' everyone with her skills. thinkin' i might do a sentinel on my first ME2 run-through, though...

Ashley and Garrus. They're the two I'd want to be around most IRL.



On my insanity run I used Ashley and Wrex. Two Vanguards = Lift + Throw 4 times ftw. Nothing much more satisfying than sending those damn Krogan into orbit.

Tali because she's got great tech skills, Wrex because he knows how to handle a shotgun, Ashley because she's a decent CQC fighter, and Garrus because he's just plain awesome.

Wrex, about the only class he's not a good for is the soldier (he lacks enough CC to fill that role and you still need box opener).

The first time I played (vanguard) I always took Ashley and usually Liara ... foolishly having no tech because I opted for utter biotic/combat destruction.



Every other time I basically focused on one squad member for achievements.



On my planned final play-through (seventh, that is) I've mostly used Wrex, followed closely by Tali for her usefulness against the geth.

Ashley and Garrus

Ashley's Job: run around, be a meatshield, soak up damage, snipe random people.

Garrus's Job: Unlock everything, heal everyone, then die, then get unitied back up.

Playing as a vanguard, almost always Garrus and Liara. Its definitely not balanced but fit my playing style which is by far more important then equaling out biotic and tech.

Hmmm well i used Wrex, Garrus and Tali mainly and liara on a couple playthroughs. NEVER Kaiden or ashley other then the starting never liked them as squad mates but i do like them personality wise.

I had Wrex with me the whole game. I varied who I brought along with him but it was usually Garrus or Tali.

Probably since I'm a squad balance freak, Ashley, Tali and Liara. I dislike the fact that all the male characters were hybrid classes, I'm not sexist or anything, but it was frustrating for me to only ever play with these 3 characters so I could have a balanced squad.

Was an Infiltrator and Always had Liara and Tali with me, didn't bother with the others.

I rotated the characters a lot. But I always found myself wanting to use Tali and Garrus. I don't know why but I think they are my favorite characters.



When my Shepard had no biotic skills and I was just going with who I wanted with me at the time I'd carry Liara around... but always felt bad about leaving Tali or Garrus behind.

Main playthrough I used Tali & Liara the most, and any plays after that it was usually a mixture of Wrex & Ashley/Garrus & Tali/Liara & Ashley

With my Soldier, I used Tali and Liara. With my Adept, I used Wrex and Garrus.



Now I'm thinking of going through again, at least getting to 40 or 50, using an Engineer for the "use X ability" achievements, and to set things exactly the way I want for the import into ME2. I plan on using Ash and Kaidan for those squad achievements.
