Garrus/Wrex, all 15 playthroughs

For my engineer i go tech-tech-tech Garrus and Tali but the most devastating combo is boomstick tali and Liara.

I played a soldier and hauled around Garrus and Wrex because they were the best. Sure my party was a little combat-heavy, but everything died fast enough even on Insanity that I never really noticed.



On an unrelated note, am I the only person who Ashley annoyed the ****** out of?

As a Soldier, going with Liara+garrus. Tried before Kaidan+Wrex, didn't like it much tbh, kaidan seems like a glass bottle :S

I tended to use everyone but Kaidon, though for most missions I had Garrus as my right hand man to shoot whatever I couldn't get to first. Then the second squadmate depended on the situation, if I needed tech, biotic firepower, or just wanted to bulldoze my way through the lines since I almost always play as a soldier.

I used to normally go for Ashley/Liara combo but recently Im liking Liara and Tali

I tended to go with perfectly balanced parties, so it depended on my class.  For instance with a soldier I would use Tali and Liara regularly.  With a infiltrator I would use Wrex and Kaiden, or Garrus and Liara.  Although Wrex was my favorite character so regardless of class he would see alot of action.

Garrus/Liara for my vanguard/paragon, and Wrex/Ashley for my soldier/renegade femshep. I pick my squad members based on who I think compliment the character I'm playing, rather than based on their combat class. I have to admit, having Wrex/Ashley with me the whole time made their little... event on Virmire even more shocking.

Used Wrex and Liara on my first playthrough as an Infiltrator. Used Liara and Tali on my Soldier playthrough. At odd times I used Garrus aswell, but I never used either of the two humans. Kaidan is just such a dull character (and frankly, aliens are more interesting), and Ashley... well, she gets "Virmired" as it were.

Everyone seems to have their personal preferences, but how much does it matter.?

I read that you had to take Liara along of you wanted to get the Asari Alliance Achievment, not they I have any idea (yet) what that is and if it is worth it. So I have been choosing her all the time but feel that this is not a good strategy although she only bit the dust once while i went down more times than I care to remember.

I mean how do you know. As I am playing a fighter I have not considered Ashley as I felt that I need both biotic or tech skills in my party no matter the destination, Am I incorrect in this assumption and is Liara's presence all the time absolutely necessary or have I been fed a bum steer?

I was totally pimping Ashley and Liara. Made me look good in front of the council?

Since i only reinstalled 2 weeks ago to replay the game with a few new character i went with Tali, Garrus and Ashley.



Especially Tali and Garrus considering they have a larger role in ME2, and would make it feel abit heavier should something go wrong with em in ME2. =P

Although some planets are better suited for certain skills i think. Therum and the Virmire trench run have alot of geth/machine enemies so Tali is killer, Liara is badass during the endgame on the Citadel, i mean she just lifts everybody off the side of the elevator on the way to Sovereign, and suspends Saren in the air during the last fight.

Garrus and Ashley just because my fight with the Matriach my character was force to the ground and stayws there. i managed to survive by those to killing everything in sight without my help.

Tali and Liara, as a soldier. Hands down they are a badass combo though. Liara likes to just lift everything wile me and tali kill it. That is if she gets a chance to touch it.

Vanguard with Kaidan and Ashley. Kind of boring but I like having 2 lifts and 2 throws because I use them a lot. After I off Ashley, I go Wrex/Garrus or Wrex/Tali. Playing as a soldier with Liara and Tali is great because everyone's skills are so advanced.
