sure, if it sucks I want to know ahead of time so I can not play it when the game comes out(much like me3)
What? ME3 MP was one of the best parts of the game.
I might not have liked how they ended the main game (and never want to see the same happen again), but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the rest of it.

Pls no multiplayer, will take important resources/time for something vast majority fans of dragon age don't want/need. Really. Even if it was funnish, it would definitely not be something that people would buy the game for, or keep playing the game for. Thats my opinion.
You're too late. They've already talked about doing it, as far as I understand.

And no, MP does not take away resources, EA would actually give Bioware more money for it.

^ Not really, (back in June, maybe?) Aaron Flynn said they're focussing on SP since it's they're first time using Frostbite and they don't want to mess up the main campaign. While that's not a flat out "no" to MP, it's still something to ponder.

Ooh, I'd love to see the article. I just remember reading they weren't knocking the idea and thought I'd cover my bases.

What is this stupid myth about MP taking money away from the rest of the game? Budgeting doesn't go that way. Biower would get x monies for voice acting, x monies for advertising, x monies for SP, x monies for MP. If the VA comes in at 3 dollars less than anticipated its not like that 3 dollars is going to other areas of the game. EA gets 3 dollars back after asking why something came under budget the same way they'd be curious why something came over budget.

I'd love MP. Co-op would be terrific. A castle/defence seige thing could be really neat. IEven a level crawling thing and your loots in some way transfer across to SP in a minor way would be fun.
Even they had a co-op story mode like Saints Row the Third I literally wouldn't be able to contain my boner.
Playing games with friends is fun.

It won't work. No matter who you are, no matter how you explain it.AppealToReason wrote...

I've watched this discussion play out dozens of times. They won't believe you.

ME3 worked because it was basically a third person cover based shooter with some squaddies thrown in. This is a party based tactical, pause and play, maths based rpg. Unless they really focus on the "action combat", rendering all three of those things irrelevant (ie, the opposite of the stated focus) it would just be wierd.

I'm not overly clear how mulitplayer would work, especially with an increased focus on tactics.

The pause wouldn't be necessary since each individual would issue orders for their characters. You could suggest certain tactics via voice chat, etc, I imagine. But I suppose it would run similarly to utilizing one single character.

It was boring, broken controls on PC, dumb AI and no creativity at all. Bioware even went back on their own words when they said they will try to make multiplayer loyal to ME plot. Few months later, out of nowhere Collectors appear!
"Hey guys you know what would serve as the perfect complement the last 7 waves of respawning Cerberus Assault Troops and Centurions? 7 more waves of Assault Troops and Centurions!"
I don't want multiplayer. SP is Bioware's strong point and it always was. If they will make multiplayer then at least give us more mods, missions or something, instead of spending time increasing size of Ashley and Liara's boobs.

Because quite a large group of gamers enjoy gaming socially. I would have been finished with ME3 months ago if not for co-op. As is, a year later I still play on a fairly regular basis and see many others, many of them friends I've made in game, doing so as well. Say what you will but it really added to the longevity, repeatability, and for many fun of the game.Jerrybnsn wrote...
considering how small a group of gamers actually play multiplayer, I'm surprised EA sinks good money into it. I find it a dull addition to a game.

And if there's one, allow us play as characters from the previous games too.

ME3 multiplayer was horde set in the ME universe, nothing else. But the funny thing is, the campaign was **** that it made the multiplayer actually the best part of the game.

It's not needed. But if does exist, an early beta release would be fantastic.

No it isn't.Co-op and multiplayer aren't needed to make a game have longevity or have replay value.I'd rather play a good single player game than one with a multiplayer mode that's average at best. Also Skyrim says hello.DrunkenGamerTrae wrote...
