Frostbite is an FPS engine, so you'd think they'd be capable of showing well designed hands.

It isn't an FPS engine, its just known for running a popular FPS(The field of all the battles).
And even then, in those games hands are covered by gloves that are frequently holding objects like weapons(referring to multiplayer here).
When it comes to an RPG where hands will sometimes be seen without gloves...
thats why I'm hoping for a dev comment on it.

Even if we remove nail polish, in DA2 they facepalmed a whole lot and you couldn't not look since it was in the way of a face. So I vote for better hands or gloves at ALL times. Or for someone in Thedas to invent lotion.

I agree the hands, especially on females, were scary, the male hands weren't quite as bad, but the other thing I think needs fixing are the teeth. Have you noticed how many teeth are in the lower jaws? It really would have been better if they eliminated them all together, and just showed upper teeth. I spent a lot of time in the Black Emporium trying to fix the jaw/cheeks so my pc didn't have all her teeth showing.

This is just as bad as when people started pointing out Miranda's more "prominent" features on BSN. When ME2 came out, I didn't notice any of it!
