I will say this...

Despite being one of my favorite characters if Morrigan returns as the big bad, as some have speculated, there is a very large possibility that my Inquisitor will kill her. Even if given the option to spare her, I think I'd choose to use the murder knife.

The Inquisitor and the Warden aren't the same person, so any experiences Morrigan had with the Warden wouldn't be a factor in the Inquisitor's decision.

A bad girl that you wish you had lost your virginity to back in high school.
I like her well enough.
Expect her to be a npc giving advice , not a party member.
Hope we get to dance with her at an Orlesian ball.

At first I hated her but then I played a fem elf mage warden who despised the chantry, templars and the tower and lusted for power to avoid the terror of ever being locked up again. We became besties and she really touched my heart with her depth, Ever after she was always like a sister to my wardens. I love her.

Since I had a FEMALE Warden, she didn't make me a dad at all (I did, however, order Alistair to sleep with her to save his life). I considered Morrigan interesting and almost a friend by the end of DA:O. Although she's a character that I want to see again and also seems like she will be playing an important role in future events, I'm certainly not besotted by her as you appear to be.

She reminds me a lot about my mom.

I am one of the few people (from what I gather here) that doesn't like her. I don't dislike her per say I just didn't like her. I did like a lot that she was a "wild witch" . I liked how she wound Alistair up as well. She is ok as far as DAO goes. I am hoping her character is flushed out more in DAI. Since I was a fem_Warden I had Alistair sleep with her. (That being said, her character was much more complex than most other women NPCs I have come across in other games.)

She's written well and her character is interesting enough, but I don't love her. 'Mysterious' has become 'annoyingly obtuse' and I don't have much patience for that.

Morrigan is that wild chick you fell in love with in college who was an absolute blast but totally broke your heart because she was...wild. Not a girl you bring home to mom or even raise a family with (not dependable and will never settle down), but a blast to hang out with, for a while.

One of Gaider's best creations.

I like Morrigan. She made my Female Mage see the world in a different light, although they both were new to the "outside world".

I don't like her at all. Don't get me wrong I liked parts of her character I enjoyed her banter and all that noise but at the end if you don't knock her up with a demon/god baby she'll walk away from everything and leave you to your fate.... that's when I stopped caring about her character. Its the same reason I instantly stopped liking Alistair's character because he betrays the cause and just wants to walk away just because you refuse to kill Loghain.

The fact that even if she loves you or you're her best friend she'll leave you to die if you don't give her exactly what she wants. That right there doesn't stand with me. She would have risked all of Ferelden if not all of Thedas to the Blight out of spite. So no I'm not ok with her character and if I get the chance my inquisitor will impale her on a pike and burn the witch for good measure.

Was Morrigan ever annoyingly obtuse? Or are you talking about DA II and the ME series?

I did like her, until what she did at the end of Origins. Now I don't really like her at all.

I loved her. Her personality and point of view are actually understandable, consider she'd been raised in the Kokari's wild, (not really "friendly" environment) and by a thousands year old Witch of the Wild. She's a b*tch most of the time, but under all that, she's quite vulnerable, a bit innocent, and sometimes even quite girly. I would say she's like Dark chocolate, bitter and sweet at the same time, and pretty delicious. Also I think she's the one that developed the most over the course of DA:O, if you befriend / romance her. So yeah, a well written and very interesting character. I'm glad she's back in DA:I, though not having her in party again is kind of a disappointment.

Agreed.

I also love her and the Warden's romantic story. There is something sweet, yet tragic about how she falls in love, and in the end still has to leave him, for what, we have yet to find out.

I am really looking forward to seeing her again, and finding out what's going on between her, Flemeth, the Warden and her son.

I like her , with a lot of metagaming.
Otherwise she's just this huge pain in the a** who talks about survival of the fittest when she spent her whole life sheltered by one of the most powerful being living in Thedas.
Once you scratch the surface , you see someone's who's really lonely and doesn't know much.

I'm happy to see her again and I hope it doesn't end too badly...I don't want to kill her .

Unlikely any of us will get a direct chance to
kill Morrigan or Flemeth.
I realize some players WANT to kill them but I hope they're denied that possibility .

I love Morrigan. She is my favourite companion in all Dragon Age games and my favourite LI. I hope they make her role in DA: Inquisition good and I really hope that don't make her the Bad Guy.
