Does this count for time in matches only or does your loading screen time count towards this too?

The time you've played is only the amount of time you've been in an actual match. It does not include the time you've been sitting in lobbies, or the main menu of MP.

From what I've seen, yea full mission time counts as well as how fast you do the challenges. Which made my 30 min gold missions more shaming.

i imagine some of us PS3'ers would have already noticed if the time in game statistic would be two times that of accumulated in-match-times - so no, loading screens don't seem to count towards this... .
