I'm playing a level 10 Primal Mage. I've already dumped 37 points into my magic attribute. The highest spell requires 36 magic. Should I dump more points into magic or concentrate on other attributes? Any tips would be great

Would probly be better to post this in the character build forum, but anyway.
In my experience, dumping points into magic is generallly a good idea as long as your willpower is high enough to be able to cast your huge spells. Unless you're an AW or Blood Mage, I've found little reason to invest heavily in other abilities.

Magic affects how powerful your spells are. If you want your spells to do more damage as you gain levels, you need to keep dumping points in Magic.
You're primal, so let's put this in those terms. Fireball does something like 60 + 0.6*SP damage (SP = Spellpower, which is your Magic stat minus 10). So if you gain some levels but your Magic stat stays the same, then your Fireball will do exactly as much damage then as it does now. The only way Fireball will ever grow more powerful is if your Magic stat gets bigger.
Most damage spells scale like this.
