I tried Acolyte + Lancer, Hurricane + Venom and Venom + Harrier.

Venom is a definite, yes.

What else would be good on him?

anything with 30% power amplifier (so pistol or smg). Spam Cain mines for damage, and concussive shot for lulz (vs phantoms)

If you're going with Cain Mine spam then really any pistol/SMG will do as long as you put the Power Magnifier on it. Of course the Talon(once you have it) and Hurricane are the best of those bunch.

If you're doing an Omni-Bow setup then you want to stick to Shotguns and put the Omni-Blade on it.

That's what I have equipped on the Venom, the high caliber barrel and the blade attachment.

I would say an SMG. I use the CSMG with the clip extender and the power mod. I also would put on an AR if you're gonna cain mine spam, if you're going with an omni-bow setup, then do a shotgun with the omni-blade attachment.

OT: If you're host, the GPS with ominblade + damage barrel is pretty good. Otherwise I'd use the Wraith with a smart choke + omiblade.  AND SPEC INTO LOLCAINMINES

Arc pistol with melee and power amp get the best of both worlds (25 % of melee less only) and score continous headshots with auto aim.

Shotgun Omniblade. You don't need anything else but a shotgun to carry it.
Why would you need to fire your gun when you can shoot arrows ?

lol Thanks Choky, I figured out how to charge the Venom before shooting the bow, I really had fun shooting phantoms into the sky too!

It was really easy to get used too, all I was doing was using the same power but with different effects.

Graal. Your omni arrows lock on to enemies heads. Lob charged graal spikes with your omni spikes. Profit.

If you encounter a bear your first reaction might be to climb up a tree. Just remember that it is usally a bad idea and can easily get you killed. Same with Lions.
