keep interest in this multiplayer a little longer and keep the base strong/grow till ME(4)?

We all know there is no more support or DLC's for this multiplayer anymore. Which doesnt make much sense to me as other multiplayer games would have support almost until just a few months before the next release. (Halo anyone?)

Since 2015 is REALLY far from now it is safe to assume that the servers may be shut down within a year depending on how many players still play the game by then. Its just natural/normal for these things to happen to a game. 
I would like to try something.

I am very excited for ME(4) as everyone else is but I am definitely getting my fix on other games inlcuding ME3 but just like everyone I may also get burned out and after doing all of the challenges I could do...well... to continue playing after that will require more.

This may be pointless as BioWAre/EA is a business and there are budget situations etc BUT I do know that if something gets enough attention any company will at least listen or look. It may be pointless but....what have you got to lose?

So if you think it would be really cool for BioWare/EA to provide a SURPRISE DLC within 8 - 10 months then sign here AND also provide some cool ideas that you think would be cool for this "SURPRISE" DLC. Now dont put any ideas that would be too crazy to code but things that you think would be possible for a surprise DLC in 8-10 months and if you'd like put in ideas for the next Mass Effect franchise you can as well.

• Post if you'd like to have a surprise Multiplayer DLC
• Provide any ideas you think would be cool for this "Surprise" DLC. (Maps, Enemies, Characters, etc.)

Cant hurt? Have fun and support this thread and poll and lets see how far and how big we can make it. Take it as a challenge. Again, it may be pointless but.....like the NY Lottery Slogan says..."Hey...you never know".

I would love this too, so I'll sign despite the hopelessness. I would actually just be happy if they ran some old-fashioned weekend challenges again prior to ME4's release. Even just that would draw a number of people back in.

Sure, why not throw my name in there. Map idea, Collector base.
Another idea, Firebase Labyrinth, moving walls continually change the layout of the map.
New power, Tether, locks and enemy to another and keeps them no farther than 5 meters apart. Can chain up to 4 enemies at once. Can be used as a primer for a BE.

Like most have said it is unlikely, but I will sign up nonetheless.

Edit: I would also be willing to pay for the DLC as well. Threw in 20 bucks for each DLC before anyway.

count me in... I'm thinking most people that play this game to any extent would pay for a couple new maps.. i don't pretend to know the economics but it probably would be profitable.

I don't think it will happen, but... no harm in trying, I guess. It would be awesome if they did something for it, but pretty sure it's abandoned for good by Bioware.

I would love a surprise DLC (and would pay for it). I'm thinking a monomolecular blade permanent gear like the batarian gauntlet.

Content I'd be interested in seeing:

- A new Salarian Character (a soldier/sentinel would be awesome)
- New weapons (a new full auto AR that is just rare would be nice)
- New maps and a new objective
- Some bug fixes and balancing
- Increase UR drop rate

Sound good, and it doesn't hurt to ask. In order to make it as easy as possible, how about this:

- finish all unfinished maps. Easier than creating new ones.
- set the previous Weekend Challenges to recycle continuously until the servers are turned off.
- instead of a higher difficulty level (Titanium?), just add a Plat "Zerg rush" mode: all enemies are of a single random type (all Banshees, then all Scions, etc.).
- if they have time to add a faction, add CAT6. Should be easy.
- add a few existing weapons from the DLC, like the Chakram Launcher.
- tweak the Store so UR drops slowly get more frequent as we get closer to the ME4 launch. Don't want things to be too easy .
- tweak the powers on existing kits so teamwork is required for biotic/tech/elemental detonations. Needs more teamwork.
- take a list of most requested bug fixes and spend any remaining time fixing them, working from the top of the list down.
