ME(4) probably to be released in 2015. Would it make sense for BioWare/EA to at least provide one more "Surprise" DLC in a few months to.....

Skeptical but signed. I would love new content, however little it may be.
New maps, new characters, new enemies etc - all are fine by me.
Some content I'd be interested in:
1. Addition of adjutants and harvesters to reaper faction (i know adjutants are cerberus creations but still - cerberus already have a lot of units)
2. Newer objectives (some that fail unless the team focuses on the objective, maybe ?)
3. Addition of more salarians
4. New maps (no need for special designs altogether - just take some battlezones from ME3-SP DLC like Leviathan, From Ashes, Omega etc or some from the Rannoch missions to make up for a lack of Quarian planet as battlezone)
5. Inclusion of powers like slam, flare which are in SP.

I would like any content, though it seems unlikely.

If there's anything resembling stupidity, it's the idea something like this would be appropriate, nevermind talking about the success chances.

If you have a problem with reality, I propose you take it up with yourself and not with me.

I don't not having anymore DLC, but it would be nice to have a small team of the designers still work with us to fix the remaining bugs, esp in the MP. While it's nice to see pc hacker race working together (see crusader/reeger/incindiary thread), having access via staff designers to the actual balance change servers that make it that much easier.

New maps? again, if we had designer access, we could help finish the un-finished maps from the coalesced files.

Signed, but I don't have any faith in it.

Not many of the people who signed, me included, are taking this petition seriously. The lolzy part about this is that you seem to be taking it so much more seriously than anyone else, except perhaps Invader.

Dude, you know the rules. No petitions. Also I didn't report it, just so you guys don't get the idea of rilying against me when this thread will eventually get locked (because it will!).

Secondly, be grateful they gave out that much content they did. ME3 MP was an experiment. That against a good part of the vocal fandom's prognosis (which undoubtedly were factored in on developer expectations) went off like a rocket on new year's eve.

We got five, FIVE DLCs for the MP. All of them free.

And now you come out and demand more? I mean, okay. I understand you want more because you like it, but seriously? Creating a petition to demand more DLC?

Now about that term "entitled gamers" that was so hip a good time? This is one of the appropriate instances to use that term. You got your money's worth, the team is gone. Everyone in here knows that. And now you want them to break away from their current work just so you can have more?

Lastly, yes, I'd love to get more content. I'd love to get a couple bug fixes, I'd love to get a couple more balance changes to some weapons/powers. I feel the game is still not what it could be.

But I don't frickin' DEMAND it. Because that's what a petition is!

I can't believe this.

It wouldn't keep people more interested in the game though. I'm pretty sure mostly everyone has grown used to the BS this game has to offer.

Why are you so intent on being the forum police Neofelis? The new modbots are perfectly capable of doing their job on their own.

Also, entitled gamers? Seriously? Did you read the OP or any of the responses? There have been no demands, a petition is not a demand.

Updated thread to fit forum rules. Its not meant to be a demand but you do know that people for all types of games request ideas and things for every mutliplayer...ALL the time right?

Its strange that you wouldnt believe that anyone would enjoy the game enough to want to see more...... thank you for the feedback but I dont understand your attitute towards it. Its all good though we all have a right to our opinions.

I would pay for a new DLC too if I feel it is worth the coin.

Doesn't mean I go out and start a petition for the devs to stop working on their current project, it's inappropraite and won't happen. End of story.

I would definitely pay for a new DLC. I like the idea INVADERONE. Nice job.

Unfortunately, I doubt there is anything that will be done. I've been somewhat disappointed in EA/BIOWARE by the complete drop of support at the one year mark, allowing cheaters to ruin the game etc. etc. I think they did an incredible job for one year and then jumped ship.

I know it all comes down to money. But it's unfortunate that it does. I feel that a game should continue their support until the servers are shut down completely, on principle alone. I know I would if it were my product and I had loyal fans still playing.

That being said, I know resources are being funneled into the next mass effect as well. I just think a complete drop of support is extreme. A bit of a slap in the face.

No need to bust on Neofelis. He's allowed his opinion.

I think we all understand that companies actually like it when their consumers enjoy their product this much that they want more. Its a very good thing when it comes to profits, ideas and bringing in new players, etc. I think his attitude from what he wrote stems more on thinking about the developers not having to step away from their work on ME(4) to bring us a surprise DLC for a multiplayer they are no longer supporting.

Like I wrote before...cant hurt and if anything this thread simply continues to show BioWare/EA that they have loyal and caring fans.

Now we're talking.

Also, I get the distinct impressions people didn't read my post, because:

Of bloody course I'd love to get more stuff. Even more I'd love to get existing stuff fixed so I can play without losing connections to the EA servers all the time (and no, it's NOT my internet, I have among the very best internet you can get in Germany (top 1% internet connection in fact!)).

And even if I couldn't play, I'd like to see more content, if only because it would make others happy. Happy players are customers, customers mean more money for the devs and more money for the devs usually means better games to keep players happy.

It was the petition part that really rubbed me the wrong way, because it was simply inappropriate. That's all I was saying.

Financially it really isn't a good idea to try to drum up interest in your previous title just before releasing a new one. Likely drawing back people that have stopped playing a while ago with new content will make them content with their experience in the first game and much more likely to not feel the need to buy the second anymore.

In my opinion I see a much greater potential loss than a potential gain in this strategy. Like me, big business are terrible cynics, and if there is even a 1/100 chance a plan could backfire, it ain't gonna happen.

@ Neofelis:

It's because 5 free DLC's were released for this experiment MP, is why a lot of people will want ME4 PRIMARILY for MP! When ME3 was announced to have MP, many were saying - meh, who cares? Or FFFFFUUUUUUUUU, why can't they focus on SP only and not have MP all together?

But it all changed because of FREE DLC and support. Without it - no one would've played it for a year and no one would wait for ME4 MP.
