Don't know how to take the fact people are still fuzzing over the ending.

Of course it can.

Fiction is reassessed and appreciated later on all the time, often with a little tolerance and a different point of view towards the work.

Interesting, I liked how there tone has changed, a lot less aggressive against the consumer.

still could be better.

The endings aren't that bad. They aren't amazing either.

But they certainly aren't as bad as the people on BSN think they are.

How bad do people on the BSN think they are? I mean I know how I feel it is just I'm curious where I fall on your scale of measurement.

I'm talking about the people who think it was the worst ending to anything ever and Bioware somehow betrayed them for not writing something they liked.

There were a lot of them before the EC and a few months after it. It was pretty funny actually. Now it isn't so bad, the complainers left are just bitter empty shells of the fans they once were, they don't really warrant any amount of attention anymore.

Should have said "thought" instead of "Think"

My previous response was more about the past.

Lies and slander! No one will like Superman 64, no matter how much time passes!

I'm a new player. If I don't like it, would you still write people like me off as "bitter empty shells"? Not everyone around here can be neatly put into some category that's been familiar with the game for a year. This goes for Merizan's comment as well, about people who criticize having no life. Just because I'm on the forums doesn't mean I'm one of the "only ones left". More like, I'm one of the people just entering. The game just got a nice trilogy edition as well. Who knows, you might find more new players around here. Not all will be supportive. And it'll suck if people make them carry the baggage of a whole year's worth of drama.

Something to keep in mind. Unless you want to write critics off just for the hell of it. Then that makes you no less extreme than people calling it the "worst ending ever".

There has to be some room for dialogue.

If that's what these forums are about, I'm sure I'll get bored sooner or later. Everybody wins. -_-

This doesn't look any more like Bruce Lee than when I first saw it... at all...

People "moving on with their life" is some kind of failure too. You don't want people to move on from your game, you want them to stay with it.

Also, i think some people did not moved on with their life, but moved on from Bioware; which is worse.

This. I think that not facinig the issue about the endings and the people outrage its not gonna help Bioware, keep saying "monority" "they already move on" its not a good sign.

On other hand "move on with their life" doesn't mean "never return to franchise". Only a fraction of fans are sticking on forums like BSN for longer time or playing their game again and again.

Did I like ME2? Yes.
Didi I play it all the time between ME2 and ME3? No.
Did I play ME3? Yes.
Do I play ME3 right now? No, too much work and too little time for playing, so other games are winning.
Will I buy ME4? Most probably yes.

For the same reason people still discuss Sherlock Holmes, because they really enjoy the characters and stories.

People wouldn't still be discussing the endings if they hadn't enjoyed the rest of the franchise.

That is one way of putting it. I had however deliberately chose to not formulate my answer that way because then I'd also have to spell out the alternative.
