Venom + melee GI the Aoe awesomeness. Too bad mine is only at lv1.

The venom is trolling me honestly. It´s like everytime I pull the trigger I am breathlessly waiting what will it result into:

Charged shots not bouncing into multiple grenades.
Charged shots bouncing into multiple grenades.
Charged shots bouncing into multiple grenades not doing damage.
Uncharged shots not doing any damage.
Uncharged shots taking mooks down in one go.
Staggering.
Not staggering.
Other funny bussiness.

This must be the most unpredictable off host weapon.

Yeah, it's fun to use, but it is nowhere near UR worthy. You can figure out a way to use it effectively, yeah, but it's not as great as some of the people here make it out to be.

My suggestion: watch Max Dmian's video on Youtube. It helped me a lot.
I think the Venom is great for mooks (and fun, watching them fly). For bosses/armor is less powerful, so I use a good SMG with AP mod as secondary weapon.
Salarian eng and drell vanguard.

srysly, it's OK. I only ever use it on my melee KroSent though
...and on my friends who are sniping the ones I've targeted.

For some reason it is really effective against guardians when shooting at their slot.

I like to use it every now and then. I might use it on my krogan warlord, geth juggernaut, destroyer, geth engineer, etc. Bad weapon, but I still use it frequently. Don't ask why.

bit heavy at 1 but I like it.

It's my sp-Shepard's most used weapon (and it makes sp ridiculously easy). I haven't gotten a chance to play much with it in mp yet, but I'll get to it someday. I hope it's not as OP in mp though as it is in sp. And from what I've heard it isn't. That's good.

One of my favourite and definitely most fun weapons in the game.
Just love that thing.

Utility weapon, similar (while I prefer it) to Adas, Falcon, Krysae or Acolyte - which is why I think it should also be a Rare and not an UR.
