Do you really think it will be possible to bring 2 different customized characters made with 2 different engines on a third engine?
And what about Warden's voice? Do you think BioWare will take the risk of choosing a voice players might not like and ruin the character?
Moreover as we know they have disappeared...
Probably they'll simply put some references here and there, or maybe we'll actually see them but wearing helmet and not talking at all, like in the middle of a battle...
Honestly I hope we won't see them at all... I love these characters as they are in DAO and DA2, and that's enough.

Easy way:
Recreate his/her face for the Warden ( in some serial, film we change the actor) and by default for Hawke the official face and you can adapt the face. Download what they did in the previous game to have the background. If the Warden is dead ok no appearance in DAI.
If you don't want back their return, free to you to let them far away of your game. But it is not my case and I believe, if you go in the different platform ( English,French, Dutch and German included), the majority want their come back. It is a win win solution. You don't want back for your game, I am ok for that. Let's me enjoy their return in mine game. I am sure than in my 5 saves in DAO , I don't choose the same story than you. It is my choice! In DA2, certainly, I choose some event you didn't. I don't understand some people want to decide for other. Now if they don't appear but I have explanation why they are disapear, it is good for me.
