Are there any characters that you would absolutely adore being in Dragon Age: Inquisition? Now, you might be wondering if you've seen a thread like this before, but rest assured I did try to find a thread like this one, but I couldn't find one that was relatively new. I would bump a thread instead of making one if I could. Now back on-topic.

Now, I have to be honest. Before anyone else, there's got to be one character I absolutely positively want in the game, and it has nothing to do with background or race. I want a enthusiastic character that's full of life and zest, someone whose positive no matter how bad the situation gets, someone who rallies the troops and keeps their morale up when it all goes down the drain. He'd be kind of like that the big brother everyone wanted.

Basically, I want the Cole Train. Seriously, there needs to be more characters like this. Not dark and broody, or absolutely snarky. Just a guy you can appreciate for being appreciative.

A genuinely nice, thoughtful companion with no axe to grind and no history as a killer. They don't have to be perfect just not over the top crazy.

An elven mentor, like Fiona. Or just someone with great insight.

That could work with my character. Cole's nice, thoughtful of others around him, and is the kind of guy everybody can talk to.

I'm against returning characters. In fact, I'd say there's been too many announced already. And I'm certain there would be more yet.

But if I had to pick one, I'd go in with the Shale fans.

Varric, Morrigan and Cassandra are too many?

Shale is a most!........ But I really want someone who is just out for adventure. Doesn't really have a bad thin to say........never had a bad life and it extremely hilarious. The thing I hated about DA2 is that it was all about death and sadness(we want to laugh too!)

I really like the idea of minor characters returning for major roles (thinking along the lines of Isabela and Merrill). Along those lines, Cassandra coming in is just about perfect. I think Charade could potentially be a great addition, keeping that in mind.

Travel to a foreign country and see if you run into three people you knew from back home. It's three characters out of only four officially revealed so far. It doesn't bode well.

Cassandra was pretty much created for this role. Morrigan was hinted about it back in DAO. Varric on the other hand really doesn't need to be here. And don't get me started on the other characters presumed to return.

The character can have a sad background, which I would prefer since I don't want someone who's naive to the harshness of life, but as long as he keeps it under a layer of enthusiasm, he'd be alright in my book. He'd keep his drama to himself but wouldn't reject having it.

Well I think I heard somewhere on here that Cassandra and Varric are supposedly traveling together, and neither them nor the Inquisiter have met Morrigan yet.

Loghain is (besides of Varric) in fact the only character from the previous games, that I would like to see in Inquisition, even if he could apperar only in the cameo.

The vision of Loghain killing some Orlesian's nobles (conspiring against Ferelden) after the treat in Val Royeaux seems very attractive to me.

i kinda want someone who is naive..........someone who has never had to face the harshness head on.....I think a lot of nobles are like that....

Connor/his sister and especially Isolde (she is always alive despite any evidence to the contrary in DA:O - she always appears in MotA, regardless of imports.)
Shale and Wynne, if they survived and particularly if they both went adventuring together. I want to find out what happened to them in-game not in a book/comic. There was a big setup with Wynne and nothing ever came of it.
Feynriel.
