Am I the only one who giggled when they ran up to you, stood there with that nauseated look for a second, and then vomited that poisonous goop all over you? I thought that they were silly little critters.

That aside, it was also annoying when they poisoned my whole squad.

Driving over them in the Mako was fun. Or even better, hitting them head on and watching them fly across the screen. :D

To be fair, hitting people with the Mako and watching them fly immensely far was fun no matter what kind of enemy they were :P

As for the Thorian Creepers, seriously, least effective bad guy ever. No matter how many of them there are, just knock them down. Keep knocking them down, and when there are none standing in range of your fists, shoot whichever one is going to be a threat the soonest.

Like you said, they'd even give you a nice window of opportunity by just standing there for ages, waiting to be knocked down. Surely if the Thorian could create clones of the Asari it had in it's grip, complete with perfect copies of her body armour and shotgun, why have the Creepers at all? If there'd been as many Asari Clones as there were Thorian Creepers, my squad would've been hopelessly dead =P

[...] why have the Creepers at all?

Well, every game needs a cameo appearance of lame zombies lacking any other purpose than being smashed to slimy bits with heavy weapons.

I *hate* thorian creepers with a passion. Anything that uses barf as a weapon automatically gets placed on my 'things-I-hate-and-would-rather-avoid' list. That being said, I do love using a SR on them with assassination activated... watchin' them 'splode like barf balloons fills my heart with a childlike glee!

Sledgehammer X rounds were funny for this, you just keep switching your fire to whichever one is standing up.

Except on Insanity they kill you in one hit. I'm blasting the Asari Clone and think I have the place figured out, then one comes in from the side and boom. It was fun meleeing them all the time. It reminds me of the episode of South Park where they teach Kenny to box and the dude's like "GOOD, YOU GOT HIM DOWN, AND KICK HIM IN THE NUTS! ALRIGHT YOU GOT HIM COUGHIN UP BLOOD!" hilarious.

I enjoyed meleeing them then blasting them with my shotty.

Or I used Lift...followed by Throw and watched them drift off Image IPB

Sledgehammer rounds for all + biotics seemed to work alright on insanity, though I was a soldier on second playthrough for it.

If you have extra, the anti-thorian grenades do wonders against them as well. You can take them down by bunches with the grenade and gas. But shotties seem to work the best overall. The one creature that I hate the most is husks, they can kill me in just about any game when they mob and shockwave.

The Creepers were creepy but they didn't prepare me for the Thorian, that thing was EVIL and the powers it possessed? Frickin Godlike!

The fight with the thorian could be deadly if you didn't keep your eye on Shiala. I usually hit her with a tech attack to cancel out her biotics, but once or twice I got knocked down by a throw attack only to have the creepers barf/kill me.

Umm... the creepers can actually be pretty dangerous on the hardest level when you're on your way to the Thorian. Fairly tight quarters, their extreme damage resistance, and 2 vomits can take out most characters. So if you don't advance slowly they can get a lucky puke or two and take you out. They aren't as bad as Husk swarms, but you do need to be careful.
