If you want to know how people work look at game forums. People want Tali... because they couldn't have her in the 1st ME... People want Garrus... Because... you guessed it. they couldn't have him in the first ME.



I myself find both of those characters really boring.



Makes me wonder if it'll repeat itself in the next ME. People begging to shag someone who they couldn't in ME2...

Or maybe some people, like myself, have a different opinion than you do(that happens sometimes) and weren't really intrigued by Kaidan, Ashley or Liara. In my opinion Tali and Garrus were a lot more interesting.

I love both Garrus and Tali but to me it seems a bit silly with some of these interracial relationships. I mean, I get how you could have a romance with an Asari but a turian? Or with a quarian? They seem to alien to me. Maybe I'm just to stuck up on the physical part.There's obviously more involved than physical concact in a romance. Still... I just can't get past it!

And I know, none of them have been officially confirmed yet as a LI.

Well Thane is already confirmed as someone else pointed out, and both Garrus and Tali seem likely to fill out the final two spots available if some of the Developer interviews are anything to go by. However we won't know for such until the game is actually released.

I'm hopeful about Tali, but I doubt it at this point. I think Subject Zero and Miranda are almost a sure thing. Miranda is a definite if the recent footage is anything to go by.

The only interspecies relation that makes any semblance of sense is Asari. Anything else...well the biology would be too foreign.
