Will the Dragon Age end in its 99th year? Or will Thedas return to the Imperial calendar? What other major or minor consequences are there if the Chantry falls?
Another interesting thought: if the Dragon Age never ends in-universe, then the series could continue under the same name indefinitely, if there is continued commercial success of course.

As far as the calendar goes, it would likely be determined by whatever governmental system is currently in charged in each area that formerly used the Chantry calendar.
As for other consequences, most would likely depend on how the chantry falls but I could see there being a rather large crisis of faith moment around the chantry areas. A larger number of converts to the other religions may also crop up. Depending on the area, I would also expect to see Circle towers getting mobbed or, in some cases, magi freedom from the towers.

It'd be like the fall of the Holy Roman Empire, I think. A crisis at the start, but very short-lived, and though impactful, it'd be resolved quickly. I don't think the calendar will change, just for convenience.
