Yep, definitely, Mike. Good to hear it from a Dev, after all that crap about how races are useless. They are not.

Yeah, that happened a lot. During DAII development and even after, many people here told that. Don't know where you have been buddy.Filament wrote...

Many people? I thought you were referring to the devs. Because that certainly wasn't a reasoning they ever gave, even when they actually went through with human-only in DA2.Sylvianus wrote...

If you're just talking about various posters around here, then ok, I was mistaken.

I was indeed talking about the bsn. Not the Devs.Filament wrote...

LOL
Races are beginning to sound like they have even more impact than they did in Origins. In any case you can see how Bioware is passionate about Inquisition. I believe they might even create a game greater than Origins now.

The elves look exactly like witcher elves. Nice.
I noticed that too. Pretty awesome. That'll make it easier to roleplay as Iorveth.

Yeah! That male elf... just wow. I was planning to go female dwarf on my first playthrough, but once I saw the male elf, I knew that i had to play him. Dwarves look amazing as well, but I think I'll save my femdwarf for the second playthrough.TsaiMeLemoni wrote...
Both the dwarves and elves are looking pretty great!

Yes!
"Dragon Age: Origins" was the first time I played a elf and dwarf avatar. When the ability to choose race was removed from "Dragon Age II", I was one of those who felt a little upset.
Thank you for giving us the races back.

I love playing as elves, but I also love beard on my character, so I'm in a strange predicament right now. Since beard could be the main reason for why I choose to play as human first. lol
Tsss, if you want to go for the beard, you should play a dwarf.

My god, it feels like Mike Laidlaw is really conservative about what he promises and what he says. and I like it!
After you all complain when something is said that doesnt come true, I dont blame him.
Caution over jubilation, good for managing expectations and PR of the fanbase.

I doubt it, I expect the same amount of impact where it changes up disposition and some dialogue with some characters and thats about it really.
