I haven't been following ME2's development but I'm curious about my past saves. ME2 will take your characters from past saves. Will those characters I made with the bonus skills from achievment unlocks retain those bonus skills? Will my Adept keep his Shotgun? And will those characters I leveled to the level cap have an advantage to my characters who are lower level due to only a single playthrough?

Higher level gets you a higher experience bonus. Skills don't carry over.
