No More Disappearing Heroes

I'm tired of not knowing what happened to the Warden or Hawke and the last thing I need is the Inquistor joining them. Just say he/she died in battle or something, I don't care. Just end their story somehow instead of saying, "Oh... well, they went away."

You should know well enough Bioware asked for this when Leliana said "The Warden disappearing as well as Hawke is no coincidence."
Simply stating they were gone was good enough, but they went the extra mile.

That something doesn't mean they need to start killing all the heroes just so some people can feel it's finished.

how about not killing them and just living them alone?Taleroth wrote...
Making them disappear instead of just leaving them alone was a very bad idea in hindsight. So they kind of need to do something. It's more teasing than it is open. And Bioware has something of an addiction towards dangling threads.

Sorry to hear what happened to your warden and hawke. My warden is sitting on her throne and my Hawke ran away with Fenris. Sorry man, better luck next time *trollface*
Sorry, but Gaider made your Warden and Hawke disappear too. Hate to break it to you, but there you go.

That's kind of my point. The OP's the one suggesting the Inquisitor die.crimzontearz wrote...

My Warden disappeared when he entered the Eluvian. My Hawke disappeared when he started drinking all day and stopped bathing. No one was willing to believe his dumb stories about how he used to be important.Versus Omnibus wrote...

Actually, I'm suggesting Bioware just end the Inquistor's story instead of making him or her disappear. The dying thing is just one example I used.

Now I'm hoping they make the Inquisitor disappear just to mess with people, but they have indicated that they intend to tie off some of the extraneous loose ends.
I highly doubt we'll know what happened to Hawke or the Warden in DAI. In fact, I think Gaider said we wouldn't if I understood him right.

On the other hand, it's possible that Leliana, much like Cassandra at the beginning of DA2 may just be reading way too much into things and finding conspiracies in things that really aren't there!
While I befriended Leliana in Origins, my Warden would most certaintly have not told her about the Dark Ritual and fathering an Old God Baby with Morrigan. Heck, they'd only eventually tell Alistair (who was King) before Witch Hunt, because they knew they'd probably not be coming back after finding Morrigan again. If my Warden wouldn't even tell his fellow Warden for over a year, why does Leliana think she's so special that he'd keep her in the know?
I'd love the Warden to throw this back at her come Inquisition;
"No Leliana, the reason Hawke disappeared is because ill-informed people want their head on a spike for supposedly starting this blasted War! And as for me... well I'm a Grey Warden, we tend to have a lot of secrets! Did you ever stop to think that maybe I don't tell you everything?"

"They were abducted by aliens" or "they fell into an outerplanar portal to Carceri" seems pretty final.
