Ok...i don't have ME1...i started off with ME2 at the time since i have a ps3. I'm wondering how can you have that nuetral branch dialogue when you have to break up that argument between Miranda and Jack? I've only gotten that nuetral branch dialogue one time, after that, (played thru twice already) the game only gives me the option to side with either jack or miranda.
And this is when my Paragon level is full...i'll wait very late in the game to pick up jack and to do her loyalty quest as well (just so i can make sure my paragon level is up, for when she has that dispute with Miranda) and still it doesn't give me that (blue) nuetral branching option...thoughts?
My other question is can you romance samarah?...i tried a couple of times, but she would always blow me off...it seemed like she was about to, but then she kept talking about the code not letting her etc....so can you romance her?

What do you mean for neutral branch for Jack and Miranda? There should just be upper right "Back off, Miranda" lower right "Too bad Jack" then the charm and intimidate options, which will be greyed out if you don't have a high enough percentage of total paragon or renegade points.
If you aren't getting the Charm option it is because you didn't take enough total percent of paragon points out of the total available at that time. If this is late game I assume you have all the hubs open. Did you do all the little side quests in them?
In your class passive, do you have the evolution that boosts paragon by 100%? If not, you might want to reload before the last loyalty mission and retrain.
If you buy the Death Mask and equip it, you will also get a persuasion bonus.
Other than that, you can try to pick one and then make up with the other later. Note that while you can regain their loyalty, you won't be able to romance them any longer if that is something you wanted to try.
As for Samara, a paragon reputation Shepard can attempt to romance her. But you will strike out with an almost kiss.
