Yay! I kinda knew that they would be doing something there due to their tweets, but glad that there is a confirmation now.
This will be my first time attending. Does anyone have any suggestions? How early should I wait to stand in line? haha

Excellent, hope we get some awesome new announcements!
Hm...you should probably get there 27 hours early to camp out, just to be safe. I've never actually been to a PAX con, so I don't know how crazy they usually get as far as attendance.

I know that you're not allowed to camp overnight, and that it's not as crazy as comic-con, which I have attended many of and know how crazy they are, so that is at least comforting.
I'll be there all weekend so I'm going to see what it's like on Friday and then probably decide how early I should get there. As long as I have coffee and my DS I'll be fine.

I'm super excited! I went to the Bioware writer's panel last year, and it was definitely one of the highlights of PAX! Really interesting, intimate discussion with insight into the industry as well as the team's own writing process. I'm sad I won't be able to make it to the main event (darn ferry doesn't get in until 2:00...), but I'm glad there will be a Bioware base again this year.
XGrlGamerX, I know the enforcers will chase you away if you line up too early, but I'm having trouble finding out what the maximum is. Typically you're allowed to line up for a panel when the previous one has closed its doors, but I know that for the Wil Wheaton panel last year, everybody lurked around near the area for a couple hours before the real lineup started. For the main event, I imagine you'll want to be there an hour ahead of time at least.
For the Bioware Base panels, that is a really tough call. When I went to the writer's panel last year, the room was half-full and I walked right in fifteen minutes before it was set to start and got a front-row seat. But, the writer's panel was run on all three days, so I'm sure many went on other days, and there was no upcoming release to discuss. I'm sure this year there will be a lot more interest in the Bioware base because of Inquisition, and it looks like many of the panels are only running once. So again, probably 45 minutes to an hour ahead of time, at least for the one-off and more popular ones.
