Yep, I remember your ID. I think it went well. Was I hosting? If so it was probably accidental.

I've recently played a game where everytime somebody died i would hear "i'm dying".."i need a revive" and when nobody revived that person (who was the host and probably surrounded by scions or praetorians) i heard "f**k it" and the host would leave...those scenarios are pretty frustrating...
Those scenarios don't happen alot, but when they do it's annoying....if nobody can't get to you, use a medigel...simple....i'm not charging in aimlessly into a horde of phantoms, banshees or scions...

So true im on ps3 myself an notice there's alot rage quiting going on especially when players would just sit there an bleedout or be stomp out rather then to use a medigel when you can't make it time to revived them or when the host rage quits then you have to start the whole wave all overClips7 wrote...
I know what you're going thru..OP. i'm not on pc (ps3) but the problem is across all platforms. I don't mind carryging lower level players as long as they try, do objectives etc...what irks me is the rage quitting....the whole team can wipe and if i'm left killing enemies, the host will just leave.

STOP using hex sheild, and start seige pulsing everything, and toss some turrets. Melee only as a means of recovering sheilds, or holding targets in the turret flame. Mix liberally with a decent shotgun with incendiary rounds, and an OMNI BLADE. Don't just stand there high fiving... KILL ALL THE THINGS!
10x better than trying to melee everything and blocking teammates fire with hex shield.

The last few days of gold pugs have been terrible. bad players hosting games by themselves, with bad equipment, no consumable usage, only partially filled in rosters, people quitting all the time, or hiiding out to leech and doing nothing, no missile/gel usage.
After carrying a few of these, I ask myself, why? I can control the spawns much better if I just play solo. Also few friends are online. If you are looking for a gold player on PC, feel free to friend me...

1-Enter the lobby totally unequipped. Or if you enter an already started game, quit inmediately. You don't know how many times I've heard "squad member down" when joining a game, that's not a good sign
2-Carefully study the players: their numbers and equipment (you don't want to play gold with a 120/300 or less guy who has a shuriken 3 or an avenger 4 for example, and lower or no weapon and ammo mods).
3- If the players are what I described avobe I quit the lobby as if it was infected with the plague
4-Finally, if you are lucky and enter a lobby with guys that have medium/good numbers and equipment, gear up and go for it. Still there's no guarantee that you'll finish the mission, specially if it is against collectors, but at least you know that you'll go in a game with people that has some experience.
I hope this helps. My id is Stranger_N7. I hope we can do a few martches one day

Belahzur and I had a melee puggernaut in our lobby today who kept dying. I just stood next to him and let him bleed out. His hex shield was annoying and he stood next to me so splash damage would hit me in soft cover. Scrubs don't get revives.Jack989 wrote...

Just can't use a shotgun, as I like some range. Having really good luck with a Lancer II on Silver, Thanks for throwing that out, shielding juggs are a curse.

Not sure I grasp the splash damage problem. Is it only with juggy's?Cirvante wrote...

Nah, that goes for all scrubs who stand right next to me while I'm in soft cover. The Ravager/Scion/Banshee can't hit me, but it can hit the guy next to me. The splash damage will then hit me too. Same goes for the ones that use my soft cover spot as hard cover, lean out and get hit by splash damage. I hate them and refuse to revive them, even if they bleed out right next to me.Wild Banjoman wrote...
