Doesn't mean that they are, either. My renegade adept looks a lot like Steelcan's.

The BSN certainly seems to indicate they are. Reasoning that Paragons are far more concerned with saving people in general indicates to us that they are.

It depends on the nature of the choice, really.

There's a difference between roleplaying a renegade and roleplaying a trigger-happy killer.

Yes. That's exactly right.

But the point stands, it is not a strictly "renegade" choice since no morality points are given.

Blue Sheploo: I won't stoop to your level. Leave and never do those things again!

"I promise"

When does such an occurance as this ever occur in the game?

Not all at once, but piecemeal those are covered.

Not really.

Yeah, for the most part renegades are pretty HEROIC

Not really.

Perhaps not the rape one, but all the others check

I hate how Shepard gets Paragon points for being outraged at Vigil for letting some of the scientists die and Renegade points for pointing out it was necessary.

I hate how the Paragon option for responding to Javik's spiel about evolution is "It's the duty of the strong to protect the weak."

I don't like that Shepard tells Miranda 'I don't like secrets' when they meet for the third time in ME 3.

The Collector Base could have been handled much better, I admit. It wasn't explained very well.

Makes me wonder how much killing a paragon can get away with and stay, say, 2/3 blue. Hmm.

This might become an experiment.

The main person I can think of would be Helena Blake, but she was a marked improvement over other gangs.

There aren't many choices that I would consider evil. Mowing down Chorban maybe, Talitha?

Fist - Murderer, Criminal

Asari at Vermire - Killed and experimented on people (continues if you let her go)

Asari at Illium - Murdered for popularity

Barak notsurehisname - Terrorist, Serial Killer

Why not just be a Paragade/Renegon and get over with it? I usually pick Paragon speech options, but my decisions are a mixture of both.

You commented on my thread about a week ago suggesting a modified plot of ME 2 and modified choice at the end.

I hate how there isn't a Renegade option to tell Miranda that she already said everything in that conversation before the first mission in ME2.

No, I meant the decision as it stands in game

Do a better job clarifying that Cerberus will be in control of the base and the technology, and that Cerberus shouldn't be trusted with such powerful tools.

Fist is small time though (and unarmed if I remember), I suppose I don't have a problem with killing him persay but that's what the police are for. In the case of Balak there were hostages, he didn't just let him walk.

Both of those things are said before you even make a choice to keep the base or not.

Who cares about points? A few renegade points stops you from picking the option you like more?

Just do the bloody Lorik Qui'in infinite P/R glitch if points bother you; it maxes out both of your P/R bars, and it imports into ME2 with all dialogue options available.

Seems like everything you're complaining about is exemplary of why the P/R system is pretty bad.

He set a trap up for a teenager Tali, tried to have your murdered, and was armed to the teeth. Small time or no, the guy is a serial killer.

Letting Balak go risks a crapton more lives than those hostages, though.

That doesn't really need to be clarified any more than it already was in ME2.

And I'm still waiting for your opinion on Pacific Rim.

Lorik Qui'in glitch = Master killer of people while having a max P/R bar!

That may be, but its hard to fault someone for choosing the hostages.

No cheating, good sir.
