Hi, everyone! I recently went back to my abandoned (of nearly a year and a half) second playthrough of Dragon Age: Origins on the Xbox. I had intended for my Warden to harden both Alistair and Leliana. I think I hardened Alistair after meeting Goldana (it was too far back for me to double-check), but I know that I messed up and chose the wrong dialogue response for Leliana. Unfortunately I wound up saving over the wrong file and I can't go back unless I want to completely throw out 63 hours of gameplay. I definitely don't want to do that.

Is there a way to edit an Xbox save file just to change the personality states to 'Hardened', with hopefully a surprisingly simple tick of a flag? I know you can do it on the PC. I've looked through the older topics here, and scoured Google and other sites. I've gone through so many forum threads and posts, and found a lot of discussion about the PC, but whenever someone brings up the Xbox, the subject gets dropped or derailed. I followed what instructions I could; from extracting the save with Modio, to finding probably the only DA Checksum Fixer download that still worked, to downloading the missing fonts.erf file for the Toolset/Console. It's really become very frustrating and confusing.

I have DA:O for both the Xbox and PC, so if I need the PC game to get it to work, I can do that. But I am specifically trying to edit the Xbox file, which will end up back in my Xbox, and I can hopefully continue my playthrough with hardened companions on said Xbox.

Would anyone know how I can do this? It would be very much appreciated! ^_^

The only mods I know you can do Xbox wise, would be to use an editor that there is for DA:O and even then, I know it only modifies money, inventory slots, and the main character stats. x_x; As far as I know there is no way to simply mod the Xbox save to harden them.

As far as moving it to PC, doing it that way, and then moving it back to Xbox, there might be a way, but I'm not really sure on that. x_x;

I know this really isn't much help, lol, but I am at least certain you cannot do it by simply modding the Xbox save file.

Hopefully you don't have to start over! There is always a next game? ;/
