Not exactly sure what to call this.
At one point I was playing as fem shep in the middle of the game, and get off my PC to do something else, then I get back on a couple hours later to find all the polygons screwed up and mixed around, followed by the body type that now looks male.
:/
Not sure what happened, but I don't want to play the rest of my game like this (that should be obvious). No matter which save I load, its all the same now, and restarting doesn't help either.

Alright, I decided to make a new game, and the imported face got all screwed up again after I saved, exited, got back on, and loaded.
I have no idea what is happening. I've never had or heard of this glitch before.
Also, FYI: I did heal all my facial scars in ME2.

Have you tryed to creat a new character (no import from an ME2 save) ?
Just to know if it is linked to ME3 alone or the imported character from another game.

I loaded another save so far, and they weren't changed. Though I haven't created a new character from scratch, no.
Edit: Male shepards aren't affected, but every female shepard whether its imported or not is affected like this, it seems. Maybe my game was corrupted somehow. It wasn't doing this with any fem shep I've played as before. Why the change?

You play on PC or console ?
On PC there is a "repair install" option when you use the right mouse boutton on the ME3 icon in Origin.

Ah. I was thinking of just finding a way to redownload the data folder in hopes of clearing that up instead of reinstalling. *shrug*
Still, its weird, went to default fem shep, and saved, reloaded, and she turned perfectly into male shep. It seems the game isn't doing randomly, it just keeps trying to change my fem sheps into male shepards.

Have you never tryed to customise your save with gibbed tool ?
"repair install" should replace any corrupted or missing files instead of doing a whole new install.
You can also try to make a bake up of your ME3 files in My Games and reset the ME3 config (once, i had a problem with Oblivion graphic, and making new install was not fixing anythings as the problem came from a config file in My Game / Oblivion)
