I simply want my money back  for the content I have "pre-paid" for, like RTO, and can't find any way to get it handled on any of the BioWare websites.
I'm serious and would be grateful for an answer from someone who KNOWS, as in a BioWare employee.

If there needs to be a reason given then I'll be happy to do so via PM or e-mail or what ever the excepted media is.

Well first off, you didn't pre-pay for content, you pre-paid for points.

Anyways, there is a forum at the bottom of the main page specifically for problems with your bioware points, where you are much more likely to get a proper answer.

I'm almost certain bioware points are non-refundable under normal circumstances. This would be a normal circumstance.

And again Sloth beats me to it. What he said.

Maybe I didn't phrase the question correctly, sorry.

I paid money to purchase any DLC that BioWare offered. I downloaded the Warden's Keep, and have around 1600 points left in my account, What ever that amount of point equals in real dollars is what I want refunded to my credit card.

At which point,as I have said,  you shoud see the forum at the bottom of the main forum page, which specifically deals with Biowae points.

Your link doesn't exactly get me where I need to be. Sorry to be a pain but am I supposed to click on something in particular when I reach the forum index page?

That link takes you to the bioware forum about bioware points.

This forum is to discuss the Dragon Age game specifically.

If you want to start at the main frum index again (for some reason) you can do so b clicking 'Forum Home' (in orange, right above where you hit reply) then scroll ALLLLL the way to the bottom of that page where you will see a forum (fourth from the bottom) called '"Points.bioware.com Site Help"

...which is the link I provided.

It leads you to the bioware points forum. Which is exactly where you need to be.

Dammit, Sloth. Again you beat me to the punch.

Well I see that and thank you kindly.

But there has yet to be an answer to the question of how to obtain a refund in that forum, or any where else I have seen.

BTW, if you copy and paste that link you find find yourself at the main forums page...

Please, Sloth and Pringles, I want my money back and I want a BioWare EMPLOYEE to tell me how to make that happen. Are either or both of you BioWare employee's? If so, please, tell me specifically how to obtain a refund of my money. If you are not a BioWare employee then you will not be able to help.

You didn't pre-pay for anything.  You paid for BioWare points, and you got those points.

Is there a refund system at all?  I have no idea.  I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't, because the system works pretty well.  You bought points, and you got points.  You have no reason to be anything but satisfied with the transaction.

You'd be better off calling customer service, Drax. You can find plenty of contact info on Bioware's main site.

Bioware employees are very noticeable here, they have large Image IPB tags above their portraits.

That being said, we are -attempting- to help you, but you aren't getting it. Asking for a refund in this part of the forums is unlikely to get you very far, you should ask in the section linked and described above.

It is akin t walking into a store and asking for a someone in the clothing department to fix your lawn mower. They are going to send you to the right place.

Oddly enough, that same thing happened to me when I worked in the mens' department at Wal-mart... Then they got mad because I couldn't do it myself. Hmm...

You chose to buy the points for wardens keep from what I read, and chose to buy extra Bioware points over and above what you needed for Warden's keep. therefore you planned on making future Purchases with said Bioware points. Bioware as far as I can see here does not owe you a refund since you chose to buy extra.

I have over 1,000 Bioware points just sitting around as well. But I'm more then happy to just let them sit till something worthwhile comes out to purchase with them.

Think of it as though you bought a gift card. No store will ever allow you to return a gift card, and it's not a receipt for a transaction regarding any other item. You traded your money for a seperate, specific currency.

I used to work in a home improvement store running the plumbng desk, which was situated way off to one side of the stre (and surrounded by aisles and aisles of plumbing)  I easily had more customers come and stand under the giant plumbing sign and then ask me about lumber or paint (which was fine because i know those subjects) than I did ask me about plumbing.  What really gt me is when someone would come over and sart compaining about thier BBQ or how thier windows were leaking, then get totaly pissed off when I told them i couldn't help them and they would have to see someone that worked in those departments.

Probably one of the main reasons I hate everyone.

Doc and Sloth, maybe I was over the top with you, I thank you for your attempts and am sorry for my rudeness. The question still isn't answered nor is there anywhere "proper" to address the question as far as I can see.

It has been asked and gone unanswered in the " Points.bioware.com Site Help" forum even though it was asked many times.

As far as this being like a gift card, well that is BS. I didn't purchase a gift card I purchased points to be used on a product that was presumed to be "IN STOCK". The product was to be available for me to download at the time of purchase, it was not. While that is understandable, just as delays are, I presume that a firm "ship by date" would be given by BioWare. But they haven't been able to do that, now have they.

None of that is even the reason for my request. I couldn't care less if I ever got another DLC, EP or sequel to the game, fact is, I do not want any of that or any thing else from BioWare, except my money back.

I'll just contact my CC company and dispute the charge.

Maviarab , KMA and keep your smarmy, condesending comments to yourself. Just because you can't help doesn't mean there isn't any help so why not answer the question that has been asked many times, if you can.

I told you where you could certainly find help; Bioware customer service. The call is free, and they'd be best qualified to help you. The Bioware employees on this website do not handle refunds, they merely coordinate between the public and the development teams.

My advice would be to contact Dragon Age customer support. Try here:

http://help.dragonag...?p_sid=g*KWplSj

There is an "email us" link on the side of the page.

With all due respect, I just tried and there is NO topic on refunds of Bioward Points. This is the second time I have inquired about a refund (the second being just now). Unfortunately the first inquiry response did not address my question of a refund at all. I hope this will be resolved quickly since it has been almost two months since I purchased the points in anticipation of the RtO DLC.

Just a follow up. I sent an e-mail and did receive a reply that Bioware would refund my money. The Tech that replyed, however, said, "Please wait for some time". That is a direct quote.

Define 'some time' please!

Apparently I must have pissed somebody off. Since my last post all portraits of my characters have disappeared from the entire site...

I guess the moral is don't ask for a refund....
