Because it makes more sense for the woman who said she doesn't like the idea of skirts as a uniform, to not wear a skirt as her uniform in mass effect 3, than it does for her to wear it?
I wouldn't know Ashley's opinion on skirts because I nuked her ass rather than put up with being hit on, but it seems to me that, as I am not the creator of the character, I am no authority on what she would or would not wear.
Wait a second. You called those who didn't like to be "hit on" or whatever by Anders "bigots", but you nuked Ashley so she wouldn't hit on you?
And we know what Ashley would not wear because she said so. And because we know her character, and her clothes and wearing her hair like that are what is called out of character.

It's the worst looking longcoat I've ever seen, and the worst pants to were with them. They end just below the crotch area, too short for a long coat but too long for a regular coat, and her parts have those weird white things that make it look like high-boots that end right below where the hem of the skirt is. And only when you see it close up, does it remotely look like a coat and pants, it's even harder to tell when in motion.

Says who?
In ME1 her "outfit" was generic armor, except on the Normandy where it was generic Alliance uniform. What's so "Ashley" about that?
How about her comment about a sensual outfit--there's a reason that quote is used.
I know you're gay Plaintiff so I wouldn't expect you to understand the attraction of boobs and a plunging neckline.
In the real world, most women's clothing displays the general shape of the female body. What more would Ashley have to be wearing in order to be considered not sensual?
Oh so women in military uniform have clevage do they?

She gives that opinion on the Citadel, Plaitiff. The first time you go there. You may have missed it, but it was in the first three hours of the game.

*snip*
Yeah, when we first saw it it genuinely looked like a skirt and fishnet stockings. Seriously.
REGARDLESS. The fans changed things. Don't tell us not to complain (though please do tell us when we move from complaining to whining)

It's okay, she wasn't a man so it doesn't count.

What was there to discuss? They admitted the games so early that anything could be scrapped or added at any hour. Really, the amount of things to discuss might as well be a single screencap with the words "soon" on the bottom.

Needs an asterisk.

...Okay maybe you're a sexist pig.
(that's a joke, son)
On that topic, however, I really hope they return to a more neutral walk for her, while not moving into Femshep-in-ME2 territory (I was ALSO part of another thread arguing against that). She moves like a go-rilla. A big, red, hairy go-rilla (I doubt anyone will get that reference). They need a female animation, but not overly so.

While there is not much to discuss i think having nothing to discuss is better than the sexism argument the thread is devolveing into.

She does, but it's largely rendered less painful to watch because of the bulky armor.
