I played DAO on a PC that is kaput. It may be possible for me to recover the files but what options are there to recreate in DAI (as much as possible) the choices I made in DAO. BTW - I didn't play DAII. Thx.

DA:O's save generator is your best bet. Or you could get through it, there's still one year to DA:I's launch.

Even if you have a save, it's better to use the DA:O save game generator as it has fewer hiccups.

I've downloaded the save generator and installed .NET 4. I'm good to go. I appreciate everyone's suggestions.
