Crap! My gamestop isn't doing ME2 midnight release. I just called them and they couldn't confirm it.
This sucks, because I have the WHOLE week off AFTER my school finals so it was such a great opportunity to stock up on some beer, get the game and play the whole night...
Who else here shares my sadness?

Some of us work and I cant get out the late shift meaning i am probably only going to have two hours a night playing time for the first week! Its going to be a killer!!

You people really need to get your priorities straight. I requested the 26th and 27th off from work, and I did that two weeks ago. So not only am I going to get to sit at home and play ME2, I'm going to get paid to do it.

But on the topic of midnight launches, the guy at my Gamestop said they're doing one for ME2 and MAG, since they both come out on the same day.

Haha I was considering using my holiday time, but I got plans to spend 3 weeks ice climbing later in the year so dont want to risk anything yet!   Thats going to be a whole heap more fun then a computer game will be no matter how epic.....   hmmmm maybe?!

That sucks, I got something similar over here, I think the Best Buy near my house is doing a midnight release but they aren't even stocking the PC version in store and don't know when they will be so I had to preorder online with the giftcards I got. I remember Circuit City being really bad about PC games like that and they were even trying to talk me into the console version of a game when the PC version of a game was out just not there but is that normal of Best Buy?

TECNICALLY I can still hope for a midnight release since he couldn't say anything for 100% but it sure sounded like they didn't do it.

As far as I know they will call me if they are (they did so for Assassin's Creed 2) so... hopefully I'll get that call sometime. But I highly doubt it.

I get the game on the 26th from amazon but I have semester finals starting on the 27th so Im screwed unless I cant get some play time in when I get hom ( we only go for half days during finals)

I ordered my CE from amazon, since freakin GameStops here in Arlington, TX stopped taking pre-orders on the CE. They said they were gonna do a midnight release, but getting the CE is more important to me than getting the regular edition with the crappy box art at midnight. And I get release day delivery, so no harm done, really...
