Shepard talks about Lazarus with Jacob and Miranda, and then it's 'forgotten' Shepard talks about being the first Spectre with Anderson and the Council and then it's 'forgotten.'

I'm having difficulty seeing what exactly the difference here is. Why it's perfectly okay for so many of these events to be 'forgotten.'

Because becoming a Spectre isn't nearly as important as being dead for two years and coming back to seeing how the galaxy has moved on and wondering about life and why Shepard isn't really reflecting over anything seeing as he's been dead for 2 years. Seeing the galaxy from a new perspective, a new outlook.

It's a very serious post. I'm thinking of the number of times Shepard remarks how incredible it is that s/he found a real life Prothean after the mission. I'm at zero so far. Why is this not a problem?

Because you're lying.

1. Take Javik with you anywhere. 

2. Talk to Javik after his mission.

3. Talk to Javik about his ability.

4. Talk to Javik after key missions.

5. Talk to Javik about the Protheans.

6. Talk to Liara about Javik.

7. Talk to just about anyone about Javik.

Shepard doesn't drone on about stopping the Collectors.

Your failure to understand true heroism is getting irritating. When a TRUE and HONEST hero dies, he gets better.

because perhaps the prothean was a day one dlc issue, hence there was a real life ethical issue in including him in the game.

Edit: keep in mind, all shepard ever talks about is bloody javik

Oh, no, no, no. That sounds to me like you're just listing off the instances Javik is mentioned at all. No, that doesn't count. Just like all the times various characters mention Shepard's death apparently don't count. I mean times when Shepard remarks how incredible it is that they found Javik alive.

Judging by the audio diaries Wilson left, I'd say Miranda at least had a suspicion that he was shady. I don't think they would have ever found out he was a Shadow Broker agent though.

I don't think that flies very well. They were willing to put the screws to Veetor on the off chance he had a shred of extra information. If they'd have put the screws to Wilson I think he'd have caved. Everyone does in the end, and Wilson struck me as weaker than most.
