Morinth is definitely dangerous and it's not wise to keep her around too long, but they were both intended to be dangerous, depending on the player. They didn't follow up on it. All they managed to do is validate the tired ole goody/goody wandering Paladin angle. Not the "We should depart ways after this, because my Code compels me to kill you" angle. In ME3, every Shepard is treated like a Paragon and bastion of all that's good in the galaxy. "I think you are a remarkable person..." Aww shucks. Gee willickers. How sweet.

I'd rather have Kelly.

It would have made more sense to have Kelly than Morinth. Everyone had Kelly, not everyone saved Morinth.

I sneakily just walk past her now. Or choose the dismissive option and chew her ass out (it's kind of excessive though).

I would have liked to have seen Morinth as an option to have for the party. Everyone could dislike her at the party and you could have a repeated situation if Shepard tries to get with Morinth.

Morinth, Kelly, Donnelly and Gabriella were missing from my party, sadly.

No you train Morinth to behave properly. Samara failed in her upbringing. She should have seen that Morinth was going to be a serial killer and trained her to be like Dexter so she would only kill bad people and not innocent people.

See? Then no one would complain about Morinth. They would say "Damn that's was brutal end for that person, but we can't say they didn't deserve it." and "Someone is going around taking out the trash and only the really really bad trash. I'm not going to go after them." And that person works for the police. See?

I could never invite Morinth. I mean, a corpse on the sofa would just be a downer.

Besides, Grunt might eat her.

Ok, now that the joke's out of the way....what is wrong with some of you people? She's a freaking vampire. She is NOT having sex with people. She is seducing them to get their guard down and make them vulnerable, then sucking out their life force via her mental powers. They're not busting a nut. They're not going out with an orgasmic smile. They're dying in pain. Or, at least the vid I've watched of Shep being seduced by her shows. He did NOT look to be having a fun time. I swear, some of ya'll are so freaking sex obsessed it's not funny. Yeah yeah, sex can feel good. Whoop de doo. Stimulation of nerve endings and production of various endorphins. Ok. I get it. It feels good. That STILL has nothing to do with a soulless vampire locking you down like a snake hypnotizing a bird then sucking out your life while you die in anguish.

It's not about sex obsession. I think for a first time/newcomer at least, it's more about the challenge. In a way, Morinth has some of the strictest requirements/barriers to content in the game. It's hard enough getting to recruit her. To do so makes your character unique in her eyes. You're the only one who broke her spell. Kind of goes back to Liara's infatuation with Shepard being strong-willed. The Morinth romance attempt (which I've never bothered with myself) is just an extension of that, I think. A Shep too cocky for their own good, seeing how far he/she can push it.

You're right about that Street; but I was talking about the vampire lovers, not the players who enjoy the challenge of recruiting and maintaining a difficult character.

Sorry, vampires are just my petpeeve. I never understood why people are so enamored by humanoid ticks.

Conrad was missing from mine.

That was a joke.

Though imagine how far he'd geek out if he woke up with Shepard the next day.

Alcohol combined with her means of killing is never a good combination at a party.

Twilight fans make me wish vampires were real....just so they'd be stopped before they could breed.

When I first heard about their 'sparkling vampires' I did a facepalm. But then I realized that that is the perfect adaptive camoflage for an ambush hunter. First, look desireable to your prey to lure them close, then eat them. Genius!

Why not invite an indoctrinated, sociopathic banshee to my party? I kill her in ME2 even when I play renegade. I'd as soon invite Ted Bundy or Charles Manson to my house.

Physically dominant/dangerous people are attractive. Both men and women. Of course it probably never plays out the way people think it will but....
