1.)  In every other area of this forum it says "You don't meet the requirements to post in this forum."  Why is that?  What requirement do I need to meet?

2.)  Regarding the game, it seems the Manual for Rangers isn't for sale at Camp.  According to everyone else (and the DAO Wiki) that's where it should be.  Any ideas as to why it isn't or where it could be?

You must register your game on this site in order to access those parts of the forum. Look on the left, under My Games, and select "register games".

I honestly can't remember where I bought the manual, but it may have been in Denerim or the Brecilian Forest, if it's not at the Camp.

Thanks. I lost my booklet so I'm somewhat in a bind there I guess. I have the hard case, but I've discovered the key is not on there. Ugh.

That is indeed a bind. Hmm, I wonder if you could look up the cd key you used to install? Best to call tech support.

Well, the case has the numbers fr both the ps3 and xbox, but if you have the PC version, run the launcher, cick configure and go to game Presto. One CD-key.

Just tried. The only way I can get it is to buy a new one for $10.00. This puts me in a real bind because I un-installed the game trying to fix a separate issue (according to a tech support guy) and now I can't reinstall...nor can I register. This day is turning ugly.

At least they aren't charging full price for the key. Best to just get it, save it to your computer, save it to a flash drive, then another flash drive, and 5 CD's scattered about the house.

Your CD key should still be in your registry at:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\\\SOFTWARE\\\\Electronic Arts\\\\Electronic Arts\\\\Dragon Age\\\\ergc

Actually i dug around for it last night because Wishpig had an issue.  I looked up my CD key in the cnfig panel, then did a search for it in my regisry

Ah I should note that I am using XP, might be different on other versions?



Just do a search for the first 4 letters of your key.

Oddly enough, it appears vista 64 doesn't create a registry containing the cd key. It's simply not there.

When ive last checked the manual was at the camp. Traders usually updates their goods when you finish one of the main storyline arcs (e.g after defend redcliff and so on ) so try to check it then.

The only place I've found the Ranger manual, is in the Dalish camp, in the Brecilian Forest.

Yeah....I had XP and the registry key wasn't there. Throughout the day I've upgraded to Windows 7 and tried to reinstall the game. Now I've run into this issue of my missing booklet.



I've found a registry key online at a torrent site....that would at least let me play tonight. However, I still can't register the game here online. Ugh.
