Hello everyone, I have a problem in which I accidently unlocked the Ranger specialization via a mod, and now I cannot for the life of me seem to get it locked again...

I have tried for some time to get the toolset to work, but I simply lack the technical experetise to do so, it seems. I'm not even sure if it would be possible to open the file in the toolset and remove the specialization anyway...

I've tried to edit the profile.dap manually via notepad by simply changing the value of SPC_RANGER;specialization; to 0, but then the game will just crash whenever I try to load it. Please help...I'm at my wits end here.

It's a GFF file. You should be able to edit it with the standalone GFF editor in the toolset directory (GffEditor.exe) or pyGFF.

I hope you made a backup before changing it with Notepad.....

Right, so I've managed to get the file open, but I have no idea where I should be looking for the specializations...
